Cartos turn into a popping volcanoe ? Why ?

Ive notices sometimes My cartos will make a "pop" sound and spew scalding hot juice on me. Often times (but not always) there is juice that might be leaking out the tip as well. This happens with the prefilled and when I fill on both autos and manuals and it could happen at any time. I can live with it but why is it happening ? Thanks.

May I ask what you are using for a batt? Mine snap crackle pop all the time..but do NOT spew! ( I use extra long vapor Kings)The noise is great..it means it's a nice fresh carto full of yummy liquid getting heated up. But if the batt is heating it up too much..well not good.

It's one reason I don't like Cool Carts. So noisy! Mind you, I've never had a V4L one spit stuff out at me.

I use cool carts and WOWs. I get a loud pop with the cool carts but no spewing. With the WOWs, I get a loud popping and once in a blue moon a little spewing. With the pre-filleds, plenty of noise also but no spewing. I know this doesn't help much. What device are you using? I've noticed more spewing with any cartomizer on higher voltage devices.

I think it's the nature of the beast...snap, crackle, pop, and spew....at least I know it's working. I'm not one that panics over a little juice in da mouth...tastes okay by me but not that I want to do it on a regular basis.

Which I suppose a spitting carto is sorta like. But I can't get past the vomitting meaning

oh no! this sound awful. My cartos have yet to spit or spew. I don't want that! I'm with Katz on spitting over sprewing but I hope I don't have either. I just want a simple vape. Okay, tasting , but simple! Nooo spewing!

LOL...it reminds me of upchucking....spewing just a nicer way to put it...okay, okay....spitting is even better but still gross....how about splattering?

If it spits juice, the cart was overfilled. Try looking thru the cart with the rubber cap off.....you should be able to see light thru the center tube. You can gently blow any excess juice out of the tube before attaching it to the battery.


ps. The snap, crackle, pop sounds are normal and are music to my ears!

Use a drip tip.

use a hole punch on some blue foam (or a very thin piece of poly). Remove carto end cap and put this between the carto's filler and the cap. Just change it when you refill the carto. if you stand them on the thread end at night the juice that was projected toward the mouth piece will go back into the filler.

Keep battery downward while vaping and help gravity do its thing.

I use an XL auto and a regular manual. I have only bought prefilled carts. Strange. Oh well. I can live with it.

If it spits then I agree..gently blow from the mouth end. I got some hot juice on my lip once..ouch! But on the good side, over filled cartos are better then dried out ones!

Just a thought...could the batteries be gunked-up causing you to draw harder to get vapor? How long of a drag do you take?
