Anyone else struggling with cartos and the lack of taste and TH when compared to dripping? I can't seem to get a decent TH off a carto, but the same juice kicks my .... when dripping. I love to use a carto when driving so I don't kill myself trying to drip. But I seem to get a good hit the first time off a carto and then it goes down hill fast leaving me frustrated. I fill my cartos as full as possible, sometimes to the point of getting a shot in the mouth (which really sucks!).

Anyone else experiencing this?

I have 1 atty on hand that i drip with but only when trying new flavors. Other than that, I use cartos all the time. I use a drip tip on them, fill them as normal, drip to keep wet. Vapor, TH and flavor all seem better to me with a carto rather than attys. Factor in that cartos are so much easier to deal with than attys, they cost less and its pretty much a no brainer. Cartos FTW.

Once the carto gets a little gunked up, remove the filler and you still have an awesome dripping rig.

What device are you using the cartos on? You could get better throat hit with lower resistance cartos or a higher voltage battery.

And, throat hit is generally stronger with a higher nic juice.

Using an eGo with 24mg on the juice. TH dripping is awesome, but I'm really disappointed when I switch to a carto. WTH am I doing wrong?

If you were at 24 on dripping, you might want 36 in cartos, or add a drop of flavor only if it tastes weak to you. I know I was a hard core analog smoker - 2.5 to 3 pack per day and went 100% vape cold turkey so to speak. I use 24 to drip and 36 for carts for driving, going out and such where dripping is inconvinient.

I bought a 5 pack of 510 cartos with my ego battery and I'm with you on this one... it moves way to much air and the TH wasn't the same. I'm dissapointed with the carto.

I prefer the 510 atty on the ego battery. for me it provides a better TH and satisfies the figgiting aspect of reaching for a pack of smokes, digginf inside for a cigarete, reaching for a lighter, the prep to smoking (if you know what I mean)

I drip and drive. It's almost like a choreographed routine. As I'm heading toward a stoplight or sign I reach for the bottle and unscrew the cap with one hand. When I stop I drip three drops. If I have time while stopped I'll screw the cap back on, if not, I can put the cap back on one handed, too.

I've tried a bunch of different cartomizers and none give me the same taste as dripping.

The eGo runs on low voltage. I've tried standard 510 cartos on my eGo batts and was disappointed, didn't even try to vape for an hour on that combination.

Check out the Wetbox. That may be your best solution for drivetime vaping.

You can do this: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-nf-carto-mod-kr8-atty-510-vertical-atty.html

It won't be exactly the same because the wick absorbs some juice, so it takes longer to vape through the flavors, but it's better than filling a carto.

Thanks! That's exactly what I want to do, I did try it the other day on my own but wasnt sure if I should leave the little "tampon" on or not? Also wasnt sure if the juice would just drip out of the battery hole? Do you know if the tampon should be left on or should I take it out? Do I drip the liquid sideways so it gets onto the tampon, r do I want it outside the tampon? Sure appreciate the help.

I figured it out and just finished doing it on 4 different empty KR808 cartos .. the trick was I had to be sure the tampon was over the battery hole, which I did by holding it up to the light and sometimes had to move it a bit. I have a lot of empty clean cartos here that I hated, so I just removed the filler and presto, was able to already try 4 different liquids in 4 different cartos .. it worked fantastic and the flavor comes thru so nice and pure.
