If you are talking about a cartomizer, and not a cartridge, there are many that agree with you. Cartos are a pretty good no fiddle vape. On the other hand the cart is the epic fail of the vaping world.
That said with dripping an atomizer it's all about the better taste.
I have to completely agree with this. I started off with a Blu months ago and the cartridges for it were just not satisfying enough and failed on so many levels. Switched over to an Ovale elips model with a tank system and have loved every minute of it. I just think the variety and flavor of juice is worth the extra time filling up tanks etc.

Seems like they mean an actual cartridges not cartomizers. The reason most people don't like cartridges is that they don't feed fast enough for chain vapers, they have very limited capacity and the flavour isn't as full. Add to that the fact that the price markup is ridiculous and the flavours limited and I'd say there is a stronger argument for using cartomizers. I went back a couple weeks ago for a touch of nostalgia and I vaped a cartridge dry in about 15 minutes.

Hi everybody,

Im just wondering why ppl would prefer adding liquid, cleaning atomizers etc.. as opposed to just throwing a new cartridge on? I just want to see the bennys..

Thanks! Pete

Price. Before I found this site I was buying prefilled cartridges. Way too expensive. Sure, it is easier to just pop on a new cartridge but it would end up costing more than smoking. That is what I thought before I found out about all the options that are so much better than just popping on a new cartridge.

It is much more cost effective to buy semi-disposable juice delivery items (ie:cartomizers, tanks--whatever) and your fav e-juice than to buy cartridges and just replace them when they are empty. I personally could easily go through 4 or 5 prefilled cartridges in a day. JMHO

I've been vaping for about a week and I also like the cartridges. I have a number of vials of sample juice, so I am switching out carts quite often. It seems easy enough. They all taste great - or maybe my taste buds are still numb from analog use. LOL I've never gotten juice in my mouth. I cut the filler material in half. My mod of the High Ping mod, mostly so that I could have filler in the carts that arrived without it. I also like being able to fill them with an eyedropper. Maybe it is more of a preference thing that it seems. I don't understand why people want to ban cartridges.

All I can say - if you have not tried cartomizers, go for a pack of Boges. I gave up on the atty-cart setup in ~15 minutes.

The flavor is much better with dripping, but in my limited experience dripping is best on bridgeless atties. Still, cartos - especially used in tanks - are the best compromise between vape and ease of use.

My next goal is to try a rebuildable tank atty - that could bring the best of all worlds in one.

Thank you so much guys! from the pics just posted (thanks for those!) I have a cartomizer. So why am I not able to introduce my own liquid? Mine are prefilled. Are they available for my e cig unffilled?

BTW, I am still on my first cart from when I purchased my kit on wednesday 3/14. It still taste's the same.

Strange as I thought I would go through them faster being a 1.5 PPD smoker. But I find myself only taking 2 or three long drags every couple hours or so..

I really think this is awesome!

I think you should be able to fill them. Try to pop that little mouthpiece using a bent paperclip, or a similar tool (I use a dental scaler, if you have one around it's best, not worth buying one for this, though). You should see the filler material rolled up around a center airtube. To fill, you can simply drip liquid onto the filler material (NOT in the center air tube); there are other methods you can find on YouTube - condom method, syringe method and "Taryn spin".

@Pete737: that is not an appropriate link here because it's a fake review site with affiliate links. I would remove it. These fake review sites are bad because they trick people into buying mediocre / poor equipment from overpriced vendors.

Most prefilled cartomizers can be refilled. You just have to take off the cap on the end with something like a bent paperclip, pull out the silicone inner plug, (if there is one), and then drip in the new juice. Replace seal and cap and you are good to go. There are countless YouTube videos which show how to Clean and fill them.

I used to think like you but, you'll learn. :) I'm sure you can get blank cartomizers for your battery unless it's some freaky off brand. If that's the case, you should probably get another kit. In many cases the pre-filled cartridges can be refilled but, if you change flavors, you'll probably be vaping a mix for a while.

Go ahead an use cartridges for a while but, eventually learn to drip. You may decide that you don't see the point but, you may find you like it better.
