Hi all,

I am a newbie who is planning to get my first electronic cigarette. I have been browsing through the posts here for the past few days and I must say I have found them very informative. After all the readings, I have narrowed down my choices to njoy and Janty classic kissbox.

I do have a few questions. The main one is the cartridge pricing. njoy's cartridge costs $24.95 (for 5 carts) while the Janty's cartridge costs just $4.80(for 5 carts). That's a huge difference or am I missing something? Also, I can't seem to find any menthol cartridges on the Jantyusa site. Does Janty have menthol flavored cartridges in the first place?

Is the Janty HD cartridge a better deal?(lasts 1.5 - 2 times longer)

Are the cartridges from different brands are interchangeble? (njoy and Janty) Anyone knows of more economical ways in the long run?

Also, I read from the sites that per cartridge is approx equivalent to 20 - 30 sticks of cigarettes but from some post I read in this forum, it seems to vary. I smoke half a pack a day (abt 10 sticks). How many cartridges should I order at one time to last me a month? I am also thinking of getting an extra atomizer just in case the original one breaks down and shipping it back to exchange or getting a replacement will take me at least 2 weeks.(I live in Singapore)

Thanks for reading and have a nice day.

no they will not last 20-30- you might get hte odd few that can stretch that long, but it's not advisable as it stresses the atomizer by running too dry a cartridge. they last anywhere from 10-30 sticks, but hte majority lasting around 10 sticks or a little more. Also keep in mind that the comparisons are talking about vapor, not nicotine as it takes about 4-5 drags to = 1 drag from real cigg- and no, you're not missing anyhting NJoy cartridges are very expensive for soem reason- they are goign to have to come down in price to stay competitive htough.

you may want more than 1 extra atomizer as they tend to not last very long with heavy smoking

My Boston Terrier is named Tifa after my favorite FFVII character.

I'm also a newbie here, but find that a cartridge lasts about the equivalent of maybe 5 cigarettes before becoming very weak. I use a 901 though, don't know about Janty or Njoy.

I also smoked about a half pack a day of Marlboro Ultra Lights. When I got my first e-cig, I had ordered it along with some liquid, which they forgot to include. The 5 cartridges that it came with lasted about 4 days (after which both of my batteries died anyway). One cartridge a day, and very very weak by end of the day - I didn't even bother using the 5th, which was 0mg nicotine anyway.

Definitely save yourself some money and order a bunch of liquid. That way you can also drip some right into the atomizer and puff that way.

Also make sure you get at least one extra atomizer and maybe another battery. My first e-cig died on me after 4 days, so I had to order another (actually ordered 2) and wait three days to get them. Reverted back to smoking Marlboros in between, when I had actually stopped completely while I had a working e-cig.

i have tried getting up to 250 puffs on a new cart for a DSE801 penstyle....after that i did not count anymore....Do you know how frustrating it is to keep count?

Although, i must say that towards the end of a cartridge lifespan, the drag is a bit harder and less smooth....The cart may seem to have juice but u r better off replacing a new one (i don't drip!)....
