Cartridges

Hello guys,
I am new to e-smoke and have some problems. Maybe you can help understand how to become a better e-smoker. I have a simple e-health cigarette with what I think is standard Chinese simple cartridges. I sometimes can puff up to 140 puffs and life is good (I actually counted them). But many times I just puff like 10 times and then the cartridge goes dry on me. Or at least that’s what I thought until I took one apart and realized that maybe 85% of the liquid inside was still there. Even if I replace the atomizer and put on a new battery I only get a few puffs more and then it is game over. Very frustrating. I can take out the material inside, put them in a syringe and drip it back, that works but is very messy and I so much just wished that the cartridges could work as advertised. Am I doing something wrong or is this just how they work? Or is it because of bad quality cartridges, atomizer or what? I so much love e-smoking when it works well but this cartridge issue frustrates me. Advice anyone?

I hate cartridges too. Even with a good e-cig cartridges are a lot of busy work at best.

I think you need to get some e-juice asap, there's just no way to work one of these things without it. I don't own the e-health cigarette, but my GUESS would be that you'd get better performance from it if you either dripped (if the bridge of your atomizer is sunken inside it's casing), or dip (if the bridge of your atomizer is exposed).

Either way you need juice.

Good Luck!

Thank you for your opinion Rosa, really appreciate it. So is this the general opinion on cartridges people? I have read about cartomizers too, are they as bad or do they work better? I will for sure get e-juice and try it out. But I am a lazy soul and the idea of good working cartridges appeal to me. For example sitting in a restaurant or bar and start messing with e-juice would make me feel like a drug addict or something, hehe. To shy for that. At least until e-smoking is common. I realize this is new technology and it will probably mature in the future as people realize killing yourself with analogs just don’t make sense any longer.

It all depends on the quality. There are definitely 2 types of vapers, hobbyists who don't mind going the lengths to create the ideal vaping experience and "smokers" who just want to have a cigarette. I think there is also a similar disparity in the actual E-Cig. Many people swear by the Ego and while it probably makes for a great indoor/at home smoke, I wouldn't be caught dead with a screwdriver in my mouth in public and need something that looks and feels like a cigarette ;) I would surely put myself in the category of the simple many who likes to screw it on and smoke it up. There is definitely a higher cost associated with this, albeit far cheaper than smoking conventional sticks. If you are into the quick and easy smoke, I would suggest finding a high quality compatible cartomizer that is filled and refillable. Newer ones don't use glue and have ceramic on the inside, which is very conducive to refilling. Good luck!

I would definitely agree. However: I don't know that the e-cig you have will accept cartomizers so I am trying to offer advice on how to get the best performance with what you have. Perhaps you are ready to upgrade to a different e-cig? In that case, might I recommend a KR808D-1 for it's ease of use and OK battery life (not the best, but with a PCC it's doable).

Good Luck.
