How important do you think the cartridges are to our e-smoking experiences? I mean, I am wondering how much of our problems with inconsistant smoke and even device failure might be down to bad cartridges. I've at least a couple of times had a bad cartridge flood an atomizer, once maybe damaging or ruining it. Other times, I've noticed a cartridge that's only half filled with foam. Some cartidges fit too loosely, while others you have to yank out with all your might.

What do you think?

I do think the cartridges are a big contributor to 'easy smoking' or not (at least: for those prefering cartridges to dry-smoking, so dripping). And in my opinion the wool inside (the kind, plus the way it is built up) is the main factor to look at as to good/bad differences.
I did encounter good cartridges, meanwhile: most Janty-cartridges, if not all; and the newest Partysmoker cartridges (powerpuff & partypuff; those used before, and still in the other sold PS-cartridges, are a whole class less in usability). And though I haven't used those myself, Ruyan and Sedansa have real good wool also from what I am hearing.

Hey,
we have resolved the problems with cartridges and authomizers.we have new cartridges, each cartridge contains new authomizer.
See, I kind of like the disposable atomizer idea, but I just don't think it's necessary to have a new one with each cartridge, especially if each cartridge is the mini size, which only lasts 5 cigarettes at best. I'd want a disposable unit to last at least the equivalent of a carton, or it's just wasteful.

Length of use is critical, Leaford, for former cigarette smokes. If a cartridge/atomizer together is to be successful, it is should accurately equal at least one pack of 20 cigarettes. Then we would buy disposable replacement units by the carton, just as we did cigarettes. Stop by the smoke shop once a week, buy a carton and smoke 'em. That routine will be critical, I think, for mass acceptance.

Greencig is going the right direction to make this a mass market product.

I see a future with "ashtrays" in front of government buildings: "E-Butts Here."

kinda remind me of PC printers.. printer ink is the most expensive liquid on the planet.. most ink carts come with the print head all in one.. i wonder if e liquid will take over the top spot..

the next obviouse step is none rechargeable batteries and the lot becomes disposable.. its bound to happen.. all it needs to get the price down is greater production volume..

but even some disposable cig lighters come with a little refilling valve on the bottom.. kind of half and half.. and some printers will just take ink.. but e cigs are perfect for the Gillette method of selling so i dont think they will all go fully diposable.. but ultimately i cant see why it should cost more to produce a cheap throw away e-cig than it does a cheap throw away cig lighter..

Do you see how government might favor disposables for the TAX POSSIBILITIES? Tax 'em just like a carton of smokes ... Everything else for e-smoking will be a "drug delivery device" and banned. Disposables will be like snus or dip, and taxed that way. I don't see any chance our FDA will approve E-Liquid -- once it studies it.
