Carts not fitting on batteries

I have 5 batts.One long with a button and 4 normal length with no button

I have coolcarts that come in the plastic and say coolcart and I have some of the older ones.

I am having to play whack a mole to try and get a combo that works.

The long one with a button works with all the carts I have but I have a system of using 3 carts at a time and frankly prefer the batts with no button.

Does anyone have any ideas.

Take a look at that video. There are some batteries that have slightly imperfect threads. This video shows you a trick that may help.

Try "chasing the threads" a couple of times with the battery that fits. Run them on and off a few times and see if that loosens them up enough to fit the other batteries.
Some of the really old cartos you would have to thread on, then back off, then thread a little farther, working it, but not really forcing it. As soon as it gets tight, back off and go a little more the next time.

got a piece of coarse sandpaper and filed down the threads on a batt and it fixed it

how to:hold sandpaper in one hand and rotate batt on paper edge,better to file a little at a time I would think.

Will that work with my adapters too?Ill have to try it out and see.
