Old shorties not working w/newer carts?

I have two older shorty batteries, and for some reason the newer premium carts will not work on them. I will refill an older cart and it will work fine.

I had a few premium carts that would work, so I'm confused on why one cart might work and another not.

Forgive me if I've missed any previous thread discussing this. Anyone else experience this?

Try using a paperclip very gently to pull the center post of the battery up just a tad. That fixed all of my problems with the shorties and new premium carts.

I've been using the new shorties and the new XLs with premium cartos with no problems. Do your shorties have the crown on the logo, opposite to the V4L?

What's up with you dude? I know you had a frustrating situation. It seemed like they were taking care of you. Why this kind of thing?

Occasionally I get a premium that won't screw onto my older batteries.. sometime ya gotta force them on. Try a bunch of other premiums and see if they fit

My blue shorty has no logo, no V4L. The black has V4L, no crown, says Vapor King opposite the logo.

My new shorties with crowns are not a problem.

My journey has been awesome with V4L, any problem corrected. Never an error on my orders. Just saying because of the comment about frustration....

Just one more comment to add......I just got some new banana foster carts and they work fine on these older batteries. Go figure? I'll just keep refilling the carts that work until these oldies give up the ghost.

(These new bananas foster vape very nicely by the way, lasting a long time and nice amount of vapor. The taste to me adds a cinnimon and cream flavor to the standard banana. If you don't like the "creamy" type flavors, you may not care for this.)
