Carts on the PD and PT

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong on this with my PD and PT so far I can't get prefilled Janty 801 carts and I've also got some cart modded 801 carts which don't seem to work. If I used prefilled carts it seems that the PS atomizer doesn't suck any juice from it. I say that because it still glistens when I pull it out after a few pulls and I got nasty metal taste from it. If I use my cart modded carts which seem to work fine in my Janty stick then it seems to pull the stuffing and the cotton out of the cart. This is most likely something I'm doing wrong but I can't figure it out for the life of me. Any help would be greatly appreciated because when I drip on this thing it's amazing! Thanks!

Why would you use prefilled carts when you can buy liquid, save money and have much more variety?

Well using carts is much easier for me when I go to work. I do have juice mostly now and my prefilled is running low. I have been doing cart modded empty carts lately with my Janty Stick with a lot of luck. But I can't seem to get any carts what soever whether I've filled them or whether they came filled to work. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I've had a few issues with carts and the new 801 PS 3 hole atty's also...

1. The high bridge snags and pulls the cart stuffing if you rotate a fully inserted cart.
2. The apex of the Bridge really jams into the stuffing, so don't fill the cart completely full or it will instantly flood the atty as the juice gets squeezed out of the stuffing.
3. I can only get 6-8 decent drags from a cart before the atty pot is dry. If I wait a few minutes I'll get another 6-8 drags then dry again. My opinion is the wick length inhibits the efficient migration of the juice to the pot.

My Conclusions.. The new 801 high bridge 3 Hole atty's are my Dripping Atty's ... And my standard 801 Atty's (with the Low bridge) are my Cart Atty's.

Strat where do you get your standard 801 atty's? I like the low bridge atty's better but when I'm ordering they never say if the bridge is high or low, how do you tell?

On my highbridge 801 pen i actually took a sharp scissors and cut about .200 off the end of the cart... works better and no filler snagging, just can't put as much juice in.

I got my low bridge 801's from Janty. This is going to sound extremely dumb but how did you cut the cartridge. I'm know there are probably a 100 different tools to use but I don't have any power tools...so help me please!

Those aren't 801's then Gunz ... Those are Joye Penstyle Atomizers ... Be careful on what Model #'s you throw around.

I have yet to see a TRUE DSE801 *low* bridge atomizer ... Even then ones I have from wayyyyyy back in the day (Sept/Oct 2008) are High Bridge. I'm not saying its not possible, I just have yet to see them.

Joye and First Union Atomizers both have low bridges .... As does Smoore and the M201.

I just grab a good scissors and cut right through the bottom .200 or so of the cart that would hit too heavy on the highbridge 801's ...cutting right through plastic and filling snip snip and ready to rip. Also i never had that problem with the filler snagging when i was using njoy pre-filled carts, that stuff i think is wool? but for sure more dense than the fiber blanks i got later..those grabbed alot i hate em'

I apologize there CASH I guess it was my ignorance I've always been told that the penstyle atomizers are 801's. I will try to be more careful before I throw information around. Meanwhile I still have a problem with blank carts that I'm getting from sites that are saying they are 801 carts. With the puresmoker atty I'm getting nothing out of them. So I guess I'm still lost. I will also try the cutting of the cart to see if that works as well. Any help would still be appreciated.

I just went back and reread your message CASH...so your saying the only real 801 atomizers are high bridge?

hey gunz ... we are alike in more ways than 1 ... I normally always go back and re-read too ... LOL ... than edit and add !!! haha

anyways ... Yes, from what I have personally seen. That's 801 atomizers spanning roughly 8-9 months. I order direct from Sailebao ... The makers of the DSE series, so I know what I am getting is Legit. My old RN atomizers (from First Union) were low bridge atomizer ... The cartridges for the RN are roughly 1/4" longer than DSE801 cartridges ... Sailebao is the only manufacturer I know of, of *rubber tips* Meaning, I don't believe First Union makes them, but I might be mistaken. If you need real DSE carts, look for those with Rubber Tips. That may help They also come in a more mild yellow type box. Not Bright Yellow ... More Mellow Yellow

Yeah the ones I bought recently are from dietsmokes and esmokeytreats. They are coming in an all white box. Damn just when you think you have things kind of figured out...

Gotta love it! Well I will search out those 2 suppliers you told me about. I'm hoping they are in the US (I'm still a little leary about the whole overseas thing). Thanks for the info!

Also with that said if the carts are longer if I cut them like trollmonger said it should work then..maybe?

I also just checked the blank "801" carts I have and they have rubber flexible tips on them.

yeah, then those should be the correct cartridges .... I think Phil at Esmokeytreats uses First Union ... and Parker at DS ... not sure ... I think he uses all the major manufacturers ...

ok well those are the carts I'm using on the PS atomizer and no luck. I posted a pic on my last post for size comparison. If you put it up to a tenergy battery up next to it the top of the battery comes up to where the rubber tappers up to the mouth piece. Thanks for helping me out too Steve I appreciate it!

The 100 801 carts I got from RD are all the soft tip. Not sure if that helps anyone or not, but they work on both my 'true' DSE801 and my M201.
