Carts & the little plastic condom

This might be a dumb question, but....

I have a Rio and I'm using the pre-filled carts. There is a big plastic cover that pulls off allowing me to insert it into the atomizer/mouthpiece. That's the obvious bit.

However, there's also a little clear plastic cap that covers the wadding in the cart. Should this be removed before sticking in the atomizer?

You're not the first noob to have that question - I did it too.... Shoved the cart in the atomizer with the plastic thingie on the cart, and sucked on the PV till I was blue in the face....

The answer is yes, take the little plastic condom off the end of the cart before putting it in the atomizer. Works alot better that way..

You might want to keep hold of the condom because it makes for a better seal when storing refilled carts, BTW.

LOL, I did the same thing the first time I encountered one of these little caps. I thought I had melted an atomizer when I looked down in there. Decided to dig at the melted atomizer just for the hell of it, and out pops the little cap. Atomizer survived fine. Boy, did I feel like a tool.....

Well I tried using the empty mouthpiece cover on the Pilot and didn't realize there was no cart in it. We've all had our moments. Welcome paj.
