Is it possible to use a different type of wadding instead of throwing away done carty's?
Ok I know you can clean them, but is there not a type of 'something' you could replace them with? Also I guess you could put a thicker type in instead to last longer...just guessing here
If this has been asked before I apologise

I'm assuming you're talking about cartridges rather than cartomizers since cartomizer filler would be rather hard to replace without ruining the coil, etc. So yes, there are other materials that people use for filler in cartridges. And for the most part they use PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) that holds up well to heat - the 'blue foam' (eg. marineland fish tank filter foam), PTB (Lipton pyramid tea bags) and plain 'polyfil' (closest to what is used in oem cartridges) are all used by some here. Trying other materials is not a good idea unless you've researched them though. Some that one might think would be good, isn't - cotton, for example is not good to inhale. Stick with PET stuff and even then make sure it isn't 'fireproofed' like some polyfil.
