I wonder if you have to give your empty mod to the TSA... no batteries therefore no fire issue....
I'd rather destroy it first. Saw an article recently about TSA Agents ripping stuff off people.
The news tracked one laptop to the agent's home where the guy said his wife took it.

The last time we went to Disney World (which I'll NEVER do again)
we flew. The plane was taking too long to board so I got a soda while waiting in line to go through the checkpoint.
The TSA Agent made me give it to her unopened, wouldn't let me step back and chug it..

I know what she drank for lunch...

Something I continually notice. People seem to have plenty of time yet spend it poorly.
Entertainment over Regulatory concerns.

From the SFATA Facebook page:

Finally, we’d like to correct inaccurate information currently being shared. There was a 94-4 vote to end debate on Senator John Thune's substitute amendment (#3679) to the FAA reauthorization bill but final passage will occur later next week. The Blumenthal amendment could be brought into play given that the vote is not final.

As always, we will keep you informed with timely and accurate information.

So what exactly does this mean? I read the whole post in the link, not really sure I understand... Sounds like it could come back, but is it likely that it will be shot down?

Sorta. If I understand things correctly, (and I might not), the FAA bill that the dishonorable Blumenthal, (I noticed he had no cosponsors), was attempting to amend has been closed to further amendments, without the inclusion of his nasty bit of tyranny.

ETA: Now I can't re-read the SFATA post to double-check what I posted here, because Evidencebook whites out the screen until I "log in", and I refuse to participate in Zuckerberg's hyper-invasive BS.

I think it means below...

Here is their website that has basically the same that was in the post. SFATA | Blog Archives, the Electronic Cigarette Association
