Has there been any thoughts of getting stickers made that we could put on our cars and other places?

I would gladly put a sticker with the logo and website on my car to help spread awareness.

It's nice we have electronic logos we can use for forums, websites ,etc. BUT....our vehicles are a great way in my opinion to get the attention of the general public and provide a reference and information about the vaping community.

Some stickers to place on our rear car windows or some bumper stickers with the same would be a great way to advertise 24/7 and a great way to get in some revenue for CASAA's cause.

I'd be more than willing to purchase a couple.

Just my :2c:

This frustrates me more than it probably should, but this post is 5 days old, and no one from cassa has answered this question? I think it is a great idea.

I know cassa may be busy, but In 5 days not even a "we will think about it" or a simple "no" or "yes"??

This idea seems like a no-brainer.

There are so many vapers out there who have no idea who cassa is or what they stand for. Come on guys, I am inclined to believe that over 1/3 (a rough guesstimate) who vape don't order online.

Lets get the word out.

Damn frustrating.

Please bear in mind that CASAA directors are just 9 volunteers who still have families and jobs to attend to and we also have been very busy with fighting bans/taxes and other CASAA duties and projects. I did "like" the post when it went up, to show that it was seen, but didn't really have a good response at the time, so planned to come back to actually write a response. I usually try to check this forum, so I apologize that I got sidetracked with things that more urgently needed my attention and didn't respond sooner.

It is a good idea that has been suggested before and when we have a chance, we will look into figuring out a way to come up with designs people will like and how to get them made and available for people. I was going to suggest that people post some designs here for consideration and recommendations for where we can have them made. But, as you may imagine, it's going to be a while before this gets to the top of the "to do" list, if the board has to do it without any member assistance.

If members have urgent need to reach of the board of directors and their question has not been answered here in a timely manner, please email us instead at board@casaa.org. That is a much better way to reach us.

Thanks for taking the time. Why not just start with the logos on the CASAA site and throw the web address on it, then add variations as time allows?

A site like cafepress would take a lot of the work out of it. Submit the logo, select the options and add a $1 or whatever to each item's cost to go towards CASAA fund

They handle all the rest...including supplies, products and shipping. No worries of MOQ's. All production costs are covered by each buyer.

That was the business model before at least.

Plus, they have hundreds of items to choose from to throw your logo on...from stickers, buttons & clothes.

I don't mean to promote any particular company as I am sure that there are now competitors out there, just trying to illustrate the possibilities without taking away from the main tasks at hand.

Why not just put it on Cafe Press? Then we could buy them and CASAA would still get the money!

Also, my kids tell me that Nobody Puts Stickers On Their Cars anymore. That is what "car magnets" are for. They can be stolen of course, but nothing would make me happier than to have CASAA stickers on other peoples' cars!

If Kristin's logo were used, I'd want the tip to be bright blue or purple or else the e-cig to be black and the light bright green, so that it is absolutely unamiguous that 1. We're not advertizing Blu and 2. It's not a combustible.

We have a bunch of irons in the fire right now. If people would like to see this done, we would need help. How about some designs by members to get us started? Post them in this thread. :)

Design question: will the site remain www.casaa. org even after any moves?

The site URL will still be casaa. org, yes. It will be hosted on a different server though, since it will be a WordPress site.

This is an idea for the OUTSIDE of a folding business card. The idea is the inside would have some (preferably updated and exciting) text.

A similar card could be made cheaper and non-folding.

The two bar-code images (actually QR codes) would mean that people could get to casaa.org or facebook.com/groups/casaamembers by pointing their phone at the image.

Zazzle is also another option for a store with magnets and window clings.

All this idea requires is ONE person to spearhead the project. Both sites have easy to use templates (there are other sites as well) so there isn't even a need to understand how to set up a webpage. Design's can be enhanced with Gimp or Photoshop, but CASAA has a number of graphics ready to go as is. The main requirements would be computer and internet access. It wouldn't even require a huge investment of time to get a basic site up and running.

Someone can just DO IT.

Maybe a few vape meets would like to contribute their designs as a donation to CASAA. I've also seen a number of vape-related meme's floating around the internet as well. It might be possible to find a sponsor for a contest for new ideas later on as well. My computer / internet access right now is limted or I'd figure out how.

It's a BRILLIANT IDEA!
I'd for sure sport one on my bumper.
They could even have a contest so it had a clever quote on it.

I have a car magnet on my car for about 2 yrs now and no one has taken it although I think it may happen one day.
I like the idea of a magnet better then a sticker.
I would be proud to have it on my car.
