Case Alternatives?

Hello fellow Vapers!

I just recently got an Easy PV from CigEasy (KR808D-1) and am LOVING it. I plan on putting vendor, model, and liquid reviews later, but I started this thread for a different reason. Considering I just started, I'm not trying to sink too much money into this whole vaping thing until I know its something that I'll really stick too, sooooo I haven't bought a case yet. My question for you guys is: What have you or currently use to carry your pv's in that isn't a dedicated case?

I know they make some nice cases to hold batts and carts, but I want something simple and efficient that I can use in the meanwhile that'll also hold some batts and carts.

Thanks in advance and Happy vaping! :)

Pelican makes small divers cases that have their customizable foam inserts. The inserts can be cut/plucked to fit anything. These cases are 30 bucks or so new, but amazon/ebay/craiglists has had people selling them for 5-15 bucks.

Same concept, less money:
Buy/make the foam insert by using any foam and a good craft knife to cutout holes that fit your gear. Then use any of various size boxed cd cases or similar from office supply stores that you can get for a song. Flea markets are good venues to find these as well.

Ghetto rig:
Empty handi-wipe cases, again, different sizes depending on your needs. Also filled with foam that is form cut to your gear.

I use a regular sized eyeglass case which holds everything essential. You can also go to walmart and get a small case for reading glasses which will hold less but will fit 2 assembled ecigs depending on length. There are cheap cases all over the internet like flat clasp cases and a single assembled ecig cases but if you want to hold a little bit of everything, standard size eyeglass case will do, can get those anywhere.

I hope Kristin makes some boxes to fit your mods because you just made me go and purchase one after I read your post! Feeding my addiction. Humph.

Seriously, thanks for the tip, I'm sure it's going to be awesome.

You want inexpensive? Altoids tin and a kleenex. When you feel like you want a nice one visit kristen's site (post #3). Her cases are beautiful. I'd buy one if I used regular batteries. I don't think I could fit any of my mods in there. (hint hint, kristen)

That is what I used for a little while, my wife and son both wear glasses so we had extras around. It doesn't work for a box mod though.

I have a small camera case that I take if I'm going to be gone for a few days playing gigs. I put extra batteries and atties liquids and all kinds of stuff in their. I have gotten about half of the guys I play with on e-cigs as well as thier ladies so I never know when I'll need something extra.

Took a while to reply, but the winner is: Mistinthewoods!
I'm using an altoids case right now and its working perfectly. I can hold 2 batteries, 2 or 3 cartos, and even a 10 ml bottle of eliquid. I usually keep some hand sanitizer wipes in there too, just in case. Great suggestion, and thanks everybody else for the advice!
Happy Vaping!
