Case for protank mini 2/davide mini

Right now I am using the Protank mini 2 and the Davide mini simultaneously. I must say they are both great, but I have something on my mind at this moment. I am practically using the Davide mini box to keep its respective tank when not in use. The Protank mini 2 I just leave it out since it will not fit in the box when fully assembled.

I have been shopping around for a durable but small case to keep them in since I do not want to store them in the same place as my batteries. I find it difficult to find one for them. So far I have found these:

I am also thinking of using the Protank mini 2 box and placing some cutout foam in it.

I'm using one of those small clear plastic boxes from Wal_Mart that are used for fishing tackle, crafts, etc. Probably bigger than what you want. Wondering if you could modify a cigar tube. Looks like they might be about the same diameter. Please keep us posted on what you find.

Hmm... I forgot about the cigar tube, however since I have two mini glassomizers I am not sure if it would be a great idea to put them on top of each other. I have also thought about using a regular cigarette case but I am not sure if those elastics can keep the tanks safely in place.

I had the thought about the tubes while replying to your post. If you cut down the tube, put a bit of cotton or foam at the bottom and top and used a cork or something, it would fit in your pocket. I live in the woods with a whacko dog so always trying to figure out how to protect my stuff while out and about--and from him.

I had to plug two of the three holes on the Evod, haven't had a problem with the Mini Davide. Perhaps because I have to use an adapter?

I lined a metal mint tin with some craft foam. It looks a lot like this (this is someone else's photo of a similar concept).

Wondering if you could modify a cigar tube. Looks like they might be about the same diameter.

I've also got a couple of these lined with craft foam. Evod or Mini Protank on a 650 mAh fits right down in there. It is essential, however, to drill some holes in it. An airtight tube will force juice out of the tank when you close it!

These are both fits-in-my-pocket options.

These things are awesome. Will hold a lot more than just your spare tank and provide really good protection (even though they're not hard cases). Lots of fabrics/colours to choose from, but I like these in particular:

I dunno man... I just got the davide and protank II mini also and I am liking the davide product, but protank is still the best as far as I'm concerned... all protanks seem a bit better than any otherr way of vaping to me.

I was thinking along the same line with the metal mint tin. I am planning on actually cutting out a sponge and cutting long holes which will let the tanks sit snug in the sponge. I can probably line the top with crafting foam though. Thanks!

On another note, your comment regarding the airtight cigar tube and pressure. I am wondering if taking a tank filled with e-liquid onto an airplane will have the same effect?

I have seen LOTS of people say their tank does leak on a plane.

Thanks for the heads up! That is too bad. If this is the case, then I would also assume that flying with a full squeeze bottle of e-liquid would not be a good idea either. I have seen many lotion and shampoo bottles burst out the liquid when you open them after flying.

I haven't tried it, myself.

I learned the hard way with the cigar tube. I put an air hole in it before using it, anticipating the problem, but accidentally closed the tube with the hole covered. I was very glad I had lots of paper napkins in the car with me, and immediately made plans to add more holes.

I recently flew 4 hrs from punta arenas, chile to santiago and then 10hrs from santiago to dallas with my protank and ego twist in an ego case in my backpack and didn't notice any leakage when I opened it up after landing.
