Since my son is leaving for bootcamp on Sunday, I took off work today. My hubby and I took him to Atlantic City. I was alittle worried about going. I still have those nasty cravings. Packed my USB ego and 2 reg batteries, my normal 18 mg caramel, and a bottle of 30mg wyatt in case it got rough. The drive is only about 45 minutes, so no big deal there. I was afraid how I'd be with other smokers around in the casino, but it wasn't bad at all. We spend a few hours. I kept my ego and puffed away the whole time.

The last time I tried to quit and went in there, years ago, I was on the patch, and all hell broke loose. I had to light up and blew it.

Since I didn't have to drive, I dripped on the ride, and used a cartomizer in the casino. I thought about my mega, but I've noticed that sometimes gives me coughing fits so I left it alone. Not sure what's up with that, maybe too much vapor lol.

Oh and we came out $100 ahead. Not bad. That paid for our dinner tonight. Last time I hit a casino was on a cruise 2 years ago, and they got all my money.

Great job. Did you vape in the no smoking section? Last time I was in AC was 5 years ago. My parents love Borgata. Lost my .... but could only play in the smoking section. Of course, everyone was in that little section trying to grab a machine.

I still haven't tried to go to a casino since quitting cigs. I have to give it a whirl. Bonus rounds always got me. I chained smoked until it was over and went back to regular playing....LOL...oh the anticipation wondering if I would get ahead.

Did the security guards attempt to whip you with their nightsticks or was it cool? :D

No, the security guards did not try to whip me, hahaha. My son needed some cigs, so we bought him a pack at the kiosk and they were selling ecigs too. And I believe that is his last pack. I tried to get him on the ecigs, but he couldn't get the hang of him. I got too many mouthfuls of juice, not pretty.

I didn't sit at the nonsmoking slots, but walked thru the areas vaping away. Hell I did it on the escalator, everyplace except for where we stopped for coffee. I didn't give a crap if anyone said anything. What are they gonna do, kick me out? Same as the return trip on the plane last February, on the way home I did it where i pleased.

Tomorrow we drive him to the recruit office. From there, they take him to CHerry Hill, NJ. I think they do paperwork and testing. Monday morning he leaves for Fort Jackson. We were told we could visit him in Cherry Hill. We haven't decided yet. It could prolong things. We'll see how things go tomorrow and go from there.

I'm going to have to behave myself with the spending so we could go to his graduation in May. That's going to be the 12hr drive. But with my netbook in my lap and internet, I think I can do it. Hoping we have time to visit downtown Charleston while we're down there. I loved that place last April.
