I got the castigador box mod a few days ago ... Loved it till it stopped worked .... I've taken it apart ... Thought I fixed it then changed batteries and it no longer works again . I've taken it apart 3 additional times still no success in getting it to work .... Has anyone bought one and had the same issue ... This is a authentic not a clone

Do you loosen the atty when you change batteries? If you watch Todd's review of it on youtube, he really breaks it down and shows all the mechanics of it. He does say that when changing batteries to loosen the atty.
Make sure when you are putting back on the metal plate on the top that the metal 510 connector is the part that is exposed. Take it apart again and let me know. I have the dos equis clone and the construction is more or less the same.
Just on a side note, I feel your pain lol. I am so attached to my dos equis mod. Best mod I've ever owned. Small, compact, simple, safe, and it hits like a freight train. I can't imagine how you must feel though having spent up to $200 for it
Well I finally got it working again after a couple hours of scratching my head .... Not sure how I fixed it tho hahaha didn't add or do anything different but its working again it was a toss up for me between castigador and the dos equis... Till I seen a auto fire issues with it .... Take a peice of metal and touch top to bottom ... It will autofire
Yup watched that video and did everything right and been following his advice since I got it
.... Did it again seems like every time I change the batteries I gotta take it apart and mess with it for it to work again ... Get extremely frustrating I just can't figure out why its not making a connection and where the issue resides....
The finicky thing for me tends to be that top metal plate that connects to the 510. I notice that i often have to bend it back a little bit to prevent my mod from auto firing. I notice every time i do that my button is a lot more responsive too. I think I'm gonna start doing that once a week to keep it how i like it. It seems like over time the plates begin to move slightly and that messes with the connection
Still having the same issue mine don't auto fire but just simply doesn't make a connection.... I've taken it apart like 15 times and still no luck ....
