CDC releases 2020 Health Goals that appropriately include "Reduce illness, disability, and death related to tobacco use and secondhand smoke exposure," but deceptively (20 times) attribute problems caused by cigarette smoking as being caused by "tobacco use", fail to acknowledge that smokers sharply reduce risks by switching to far less hazardous smokefree alternatives, exaggerate risks of smokeless tobacco and cigar use, promote abstinence-only policies and programs instead of those to reduce cigarette consumption and diseases.

Lazy policy-makers always choose "zero tolerance" that way they don't have to think about anything and they can seem "tough" on something or other. God forbid they should ever have to actually work. And the sheeple shake their fists in anger not knowing why or at what they are angry. The policy-makers are then happy because the sheeple vote for them again and they didn't have to actually work. It's a win-win.
