I just got in some XL CE2 808 stainless steel cartos and have tried a couple of them with the adapters I got for them. I'm really liking them. I ordered them because I wanted some XL cartos, and couldn't find the combination of SS 510 XL in stock at any place I use.
The draw seems better than my 510 CE2 cartos. The wicking seems better, too. I don't have any idea why that might be. I've got them cranked down on the adapter pretty tight - it was the only way to get a solid electrical connection. Even with it tightened down I still get a good draw. I did pull the lowest silicone ring up a little, which may have improved the wicking.
One measures at 2.5 ohms, the other at 2.6. With both I get a good throat hit and lots of vapor. I do have that MAP tank mod coming, but I may be using cartos longer than I thought.
