Great suggestions! Think I'll gut some cartos tomorrow! The tank is a varivape tank. I email and have them custom made. They're really amazing!

I just went to their web site - wow, the tanks are fantastic! I really like the Phiniac tanks, too.

I guess what mystifies me, somewhat, is why these artisans don't make tanks specifically for clearos... I know there is a demand, I keep seeing folks asking about it. They are so beautiful, I'd get one in a minute if they accepted a CE2 innard natively. I'm really not up to fiddling with it so much.

I think he actually does make some specifically for ce2s. I hadnt yet figured out how to use a ce2 yet when I ordered mine, so he set them up for cartos.

Ah, thanks - that's great to know. I'll drop him and note and ask for details. I see a cool tank in my future... :) And they are *way* cool.

I have never tried this but you may not need to buy the metal ones. You can buy a box of CE-2 supremes regular size which are shorter than the XLs and use just the tube from them on an XL Supreme or you can cut the tube of an XL. This would allow enough tube so the CE-2 will seal with the bottom end cap. The Supremes are on sale too.

I have a standard DCT tank from V4L

The fluxo works perfectly in it

What you need to do is either cover the base with a cut off piece of a metal cartomizer...

OR, easier, go to lowes and get the #36 o ring. remove the oring from a gutted fluxo. replace with the thick lowes o ring. insert ce2. VERY tight fit. It would be better to do this with a 510 extension and just leave it there.

Now the one issue is, height. If you have regular sized fluxos, it will probably work better. I got an XL in there and it was tall, but it totally worked. You need a cut off metal cartomizer shell to function as a drip tip holder on the top. And use an old fluxo plug for the top seal. Voila :)

You can also take them apart, cut the center pole to the exact size needed and put back together :) easy peezy

Anybody know how to loosen up a tight draw on a fluxo?

with the Vision line, I pull of the top seals and vape em without and use the older mouth piece from the older Giantomizers and they vape much better this way, thicker vaper and better flavor with out the top seals.

Amber I'm talking about the CE2 type vision carrto from Gotvapes, a 510 Drip tip doesnt fit in these there much bigger, I think your talking about the Stardust possibly.

If you take a tube from a fluxo and cut a small piece off and then stick your 510 drip tip into it and then stick it into a Vision cartomizer it will fit nicely. If your 510 drip tip is to lose you can shim under the O ring using Teflon plumbing tape. I do that with all my Visions. You can also make other adjustments so the 510 can cover the fill holes on the seal.

Hmmm! I may make a full ce2 conversion yet! :)
