Been using ce2 carto's for awhile, just wondering if the 2nd inter plastic spacer(ring) is really needed. When filling I first remove my drip tip, then the 2nd ring and fill through the last ring, then put the whole thing back together. I haven't figured out yet what that 2nd ring is suppost to do and am temped to just leave it out. Since it sets on top of the fill ring, the only thing I can think of it somewhats cover the small injection holes in the last ring. Any ideas....

I tear out the filler plug. I like seeing how full it is inside. You can see the liquid rise when filling (between the cup and wall of the carto). I then put back the middle ring (flat side toward the coil) and put on my drip tip. The way that the ring is shaped it sorta funnels the juice at the coil but still keeps it from leaking (it will still leak if shaken hard).
These things are fantastic. Except for the small difference in flavor of the cisco lr306 and lr510s, I probably will be buying far far less attys from now on. The flavor on these CE2r4s seem to diminish after a few drags compared to a cisco lr306.
