really appreciate all the help-
cutting the lower seal didn't work so I'll try to mod the o ring and fluff the wick
can't wait to get these working

Finally had some time to tinker this weekend-removed the bottom seal fluffed the wicks left bottom seal out and replaced with o-ring-
vaping like a champ with no more nasty taste
The draw on these seems to be more light and airy -I prefer the tighter draw I get on the megs dc's and I am not so sure the flavor is any better but if nothing else these are a great way to test new juices-I'm going to fill them and use them a few times as it has been suggested flavor improves after the first fill
