Just wanted to make sure I got this correctly
for a Kr808d-1 and Ego mega a 2.8-3.0 ohm is to be used, isn't it?
How would I know if my Kr808 is 3.7 or 3.3 volts without a voltometer? (got it from V4L)

The threads about CE2 has been confusing as they mixed R2,3 and 4. Some even didn't mention/know which revision they had. Also some have used the recomended CE2 resistance with their PV. Others didn't.

So just to sum it all up, poeple who tried CE2 R4 with the recomended resistance please give your final word on this carto.

ok.... found the recomended resis. on the manufacturer's website:

M401 M402 M403 M6 M7 Best = 2.5-2.6 Ohms
Joye 510 and MC-510 Best = 2.5-2.6 Ohms
DSE901 & 808D-1 (3.3V) Best = 2.6-2.8 Ohms
808D-1 (3.7V) Best = 2.8-3.0 Ohms

Higher Voltage batteries Best = 3.0 -3.2 Ohms

I went with the 3.0-3.2 ohm 808 cartos and am experiencing problems most commonly associated with having too low resistance, dry hit, and strong burnt taste. I can't say for sure yet, badkolo and others have a much greater level of experience than me, but my advice is to go with 3.0ohms bare minimum for a KR808 battery.
