Hi Guys, new to the forum but I've been vaping for about three months. I've tried the CE4, CE2, various cartomizers including dual coils, dripping atomizers, atomizers with cartridges, and regular plastic cartridges with an atomizer. By far my favorite flavor/vapor/capacity combination is the CE2. They look cheesy, can be messy, they leak and are a pain to fill. But despite all that when it's working well it's my favorite, such a clean vape with huge vapor.

I know they are an older technology, can someone with experience with them point me in the right direction in terms of a new replacement to them? Looking for the positive aspects of them but with improved technology. I know they are an older technology, but the CE4 I found had muted flavor and was a pain/expensive to upkeep and also I'd get a lot of dry hits. I'd like something that is cheap like they are, around $2 a piece. I have a bunch of the CE2s, but with how rare they are to find I wonder if they are even in production any more. Does anyone know if they are still being made and where the cheapest place to get them is?

If I can find a new replacement one I've looked at is the phoenix by GotVapes, it looks good but haven't tried it. Any experience with these or other similar models would be appreciated.

I use an Ego Twist with these if it matters.

Thanks! Jeremy

Try the Mini Vivi Novas - they're the same diameter as the ego batteries so the form factor works. You'll probably want to pick up a sleeve for the ego threads to keep the finished look. The vivis are great products that produce lots of vapor and pretty darn good flavor. The tank assemble can be gotten for about $10 and the replaceable coil heads are about $3 each. You'll probably want the 1.8 ohm heads with your standard non VV batteries.

Denali, thanks for the heads up. Have you tried the "new" style they list at health cabin? Experience with it if so? I've been waiting over two weeks for an order from health cabin, what has been your experience?

Thrasher, thanks for the heads up on the T2 can you compare it to the CE2?

Jeremy
depends after rereading your post im not sure if your talking about cartos or clearos. if clearos a few reviewers match them up. saying they may even like the t2 a little better. i know i like it much better then a nova, and i cant comment on carto's cause i dont use em.

have you thought about moving up maybe start using some of the bigger better tanks?
some of them blow clearos out of the water. and if you like carts theres even some cart tanks that hold a fair amount.
personally at home I like a big tank if not using an atty, i love the smok screw tank it's some of the wickedest vapor production I have ever had.
or just get a badazz carto tank easier to care for and less refilling.

Check out VapingMe.com. Great products. Incredible customer service.
I have purchased the Vision Mini Vivi Nova - Great Vape
Also got a Kanger T2 - Better Vape, less friendly cleaning but who cares when the price is right and the vape is just gorgeous?
They both have a place in my vaping rotation of flavors.

Looking at the Kanger T3, will purchase in the near future.

I work these on an Ego Twist and these combo's will hold me a long time and probably beyond before I finally get a Provari. :)

Toys are toys but money is money. For my money, Vaping Me is terrific!

i don't know what new style you are referring to either ??

as far as those ce2 i linked to,,those are about the best for flavor production i have ever come across,,i'd put them against any geney atty for that matter !! they are that good

you can drill 2 holes in them, one low and the other half way up and slide a regular ol carto tank over them if you want to also

i have tried t2's and t3's,the t2's are a good option and so is the t3,but the t3 eventually will start flooding somewhat and are kind messy when refilling them because you have to unscrew the bottom which is submerged in juice while in use

You might want to try a mini vivi nova - but a set (tank + 3 heads) runs around $10.00. As far a CE2s, I found some on sale: CE2 Clearomizer (5pk) - MyFreedomSmokes.com I use this vendor a lot.

I buy em there too - they will sometimes further discount em to 5.99. But seems like the Royal CE2s are gotvapes fluxomizers - havent tried em - that is what I have heard. Nothing comes close to CE2s IMO - just got some CE3s - got more dry hits in one day on em than I have in months using the CE2s. But CE3s leak much less -

In the health cabin they have a different style of CE2 than the one I've been buying:

New CE2 clearomizers for 510/eGo ecigarette

I'm talking about clearomizers not cartomizers. Also thanks for the heads up on using them in a tank, I'll have to try that! Why do you need the plastic at all if they are in a tank? Why not just take the plastic off altogether? Guess I don't understand the tank setup very well.

BTW that Mortar looks awesome! Is it available in the US and do you know the cost??

Thanks for the suggestion Ray but that's the thing, there are a lot of clearomizers out there and I'm not sure which ones to try.

I'm using both the regular size and the mini vivi novas. The're working great for me on a kgo vv battery. I get great flavor and lots of vapor without any hassles. No leaks, easy to fill and easy to clean. Just make sure that you get the current model if you decide to try them - they have the air hole on the 510 stem above the threads, while the older ones have the hole in the base. The new style has a better draw. They usually run around $12-15 in the standard kit that comes with three heads (1.8ohm, 2.4ohm & 2.8ohm), but some places sell just the tank with one head for less than $10.

those that you linked are imo the best ce2 clearomizers out there !! i have tried the ones from royalsmokers and total waste of money !! never again ,the black rubber in them makes your vape taste like a tire

as far as tanks go,,there are tanks designed specificaly for ce2s.you remove the clear casing and insert them into the tank
i simply cut a hole at the bottom and another mid way up and use a regular carto tank,,cheaper that way too

ce3 clearos?? run ,,every one i ever tried leaked faster then i could fill them,,try to fill the first out of a pack and end up throwing it and the rest of the 5 pack just like that !! smokymizers are the worst for leaking !!!!!!!!!1

Health cabin seems to take forever, the current order I have with them I haven't seen for almost three weeks. Do you know anywhere else that has the same model but in the US?

Also any suggestions on where to find a CE2 tank? I've looked but I haven't seen any. I tried a SmokTek carto tank I bought, and with the plastic on it doesn't fit inside it's too wide. With the plastic off it slides around, doesn't seem like a good fit.
