I seem to be unable to get a concrete idea on which is a more effective/pleasant way to vape. There is very little information about how it pares up against the new cartomizers on the market. Perhaps it is too early in its inception to be opined about, but I was hoping to find out if they are indeed better than the cartomizer with all their new features. I've been looking at them rather hungrily lately, wondering if they're the best thing since dutch apple pie...

What battery are you using. If it's a mod then what voltage. And what are you using right now on it? And what PG/Vg juices do you use? And what would you like to improve about your current vaping? BTW If you are using a slim battery then none of the above if they are low resistance - LR is meant for 450mah+ batteries.

Based on many people posting about them, CE2 R4 clear cartos crack and fall apart. If you want to try the clear ones I recommend the newer version at Gotvapes - they look a bit less clear and says they have the sturdier tubes. Seem to be an early version of CE3 aka Smokymizers. And get whatever syringe they need for filling (I think blunt or the special flexible tip).

The dual coil cartos seem to be the latest kick.

I have not tried horizontal coil nor CE2 nor dual coil. Just trying to get more info for the next person who comes along. I use Boge cartos on 510 and Vapor4Life WOW cartos on KR808D-1 w/ 20% or less VG juices. I also avoid juices that drop a lot of flavoring sediment - those clog attys and cartos and are not worth the trouble to me. I do plan to try the CE3 cartos after I see reviews - I had no interest in screwing with the CE2's.

Yeah, I was referring to the new Fluxomizers GotVapes just got in their inventory. I'm currently waiting on my Volt this week, but from my experience with cartos on this POS GSL, I'm wondering if clearomizers aren't, in fact, a better method. Judging from what I've read, clearomzers are in fact better, but they previously had to many defects to commend them. I'm curious if that's changed. I'm basically trying to make my PV as simple, elegant, and enjoyable as possible... Don't want to drop out, so to speak, like most everyone I've talked to about these things. *shrug* I do it right or go home! :D

That is kinda a hard one to answer...

In that people are looking for different things when it comes to vaping. Some want a mellow cool hit at low voltage. Some want a face melting, set the fire alarm off high voltage hit.

It is also going to depend on the type of e-Liquid a person uses.

My best advise is to try each for yourself. I can tell you what I like. But that isn't really going to tell you much.

Yeah, I watched, and read, a few reviews but none answered what makes me curious. I guess what I really want to know is are these better for chain vaping, heat, longevity (lifespan), burn taste, etc. Suppose I'll have to order some n find out then!

I can give you one thing. For the things you listed as to be better for, Higher PG e-liquids helps. E-Liquids that are high in VG need very fast wicking and tend to make all those things you listed as important not work well.

All I know is my hero ZoiDman got them, so I wanted to try them too!

They are bound to hit the right design one of these days. I've lost count on the ce2 revisions and the last one I tried was the giantomizer. That was another 30.00 down the drain. I have two in my junk drawer I never used. lol There are scores of people lined up to try the newest versions though. I'm waiting for the new echo dual horiz coil cartos that are coming out soon. I've only talked to one person who has tested them and he says they are the best carto he has ever used and he has tried them all.
