Ce2s and Map Tanks

A few tank / CE2 questions...

Can you use a Ce2 on a MAP tank is you just punch it or slot it? Why do people cut them and use a special Ce2 tank?

When people review tanks why do they tell you the OHMs of the tank when it is actually the OHMs of the carto or Ce2?? Isn't it? Does the tank have any effect on the OHMs.

Where can I get CE2 R5 in the US?

I don't think slotting a CE2 to put in a tank would do you much good as there is no filler material to absorb the juice. There are instructions online for making a CE2 tank.

mooretes, the wicks would absorb the juice if they were punched. Won't that work?

Are the CE2s from myvapor store R5 (revision 5). I have not heard good things about the old ones.

The wicks seem to have trouble wicking even when they are filled with juice.

MVS does indeed have the rev. 5 cartos.

If you want juice capacity go w a carto tank, no wicking issues so far and cartos seem to last longer in a tank

From my experience, the CE2's work better when they are full. As the juice gets low, you need to slow up on the time between draws so you don't get a dry hit. Punching it for a tank will probably not work all that good.

I guess you could slot or punch steel CE2's and put them in a tank. You would have to use XL CE2's, and you may run into wicking issues when the level of juice gets low. If you cut the CE2 and put it in a larger diameter tank you get rid of the right angle the wick has to make to fit in the tube and this should allow for better wicking.
