getting frustrated...

These .......s don't wick at all... I would get a hit or 2 then the freaking atomizer would be so dry it would glow red when I tried to take a hit.

SO... I pulled all the black rubber pieces out and put one back in... like this:

----
Cap <--- removed
Ring <--- removed, replaced
Seal <--- removed
Atomizer
----

This opened up the slots on the sides of the bowl a lot... which was great... they now work mostly great. Definitely no dry hits.

BUT,

If I leave it on it's side, it floods...

If I don't use it for an hour or so it floods...

How the hell do I get these to work consistently?

I just want to be able to fill a couple and keep them to vape later... but the way this goes they'd bleed out if I didn't use them right away... or worse yet, if I let them sit on their side at all.

Afraid to put em in my pocket for sure.

I just tried one again for the first time in an very long time and they still suck. At least in my opinion that is. My juice is 85PG-15VG mix and it doesnt wick at all. Even modded with PTB they still don't wick. I tried vaping it with all of the silicon caps/plugs/stoppers removed so there was no way that they could restrict the juice flow and they still suck. You can literally watch the wick run dry in about a second after giving it power. I had one CE2 that worked for me out of about 30 and it only worked good on 100% PG with double flavoring. They are a waste of money, time, effort, and juice. My last three are now in the trash. There are some really lengthy threads on these things and if you are determined to try to make them work, that's the place to start. I tried everything to no avail including syringe mods.

ok... i figured it out... sort of.

the gasket i had in, i had upside down...

"FLAT SIDE DOWN." not sure why I had it flat side up LOL

ok, fixed that.

then couldn't get it to produce much vapor... took me a bit of fiddling but I realized that it WAS NOT too dry, but rather too wet... if I hold the button down for 1-2 seconds THEN vape... I get big billowing clouds of flavor :D

if it sits for more than 20-30 minutes i may have to do a few primer puffs while holding down the button, burning off some excess juice. but then I'm good.

when these work... they're brilliant!!!

Not sure I'm ok with having to adjust my routine to make them work though...

I find drawing too hard tends to flood them quite easy.

yeah... they almost do the work themselves... LOL

definitely different from others i have tried.

I will say when they work well, they may actually be dangerous to use while I drive... unless the windows are down.
My truck looked like Fast Times at Ridgemont High on the way home today LOL

I have no idea how you guys are getting these to flood but I'm glad it's working out for you. I have even direct dripped on these and the wick is dry within a second making them taste horrible and burned. I have a pack of CE3's on the way, I have hope for them. It's very hard to switch from dripping when the flavor is just so perfect.
