I have been unsuccessfully looking for a nice, easy reference for this as well. It would be nice to have. Having said that, what I am interested in is purchasing a supply of rebuildable clearos. Any suggestions anyone?

fasttech has a 7 pack of CE6 for 12.77. Free shipping from HK takes a few days.
Use code CPASTE13SPRING for 5% discount.
$12.77 CE6 Electronic Cigarettes Round Mouth Atomizer (7-Pack) 7-pack - assorted colors at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

And add me to list of those wanting to understand the differences in the CE's.

What I am finding as I purchase one of everything (pretty much literally 1 of each product) is that I don't care for CE4's. I am a DIY kind of guy and I want rebuildables. I have gotten clearos called CE4+ which had a changeable head, but generally they are called CE5 and up.

I have tried the Kanger clearos as well with mixed success. I find that the T2's tend to leak. I think the head unscrews a bit. The T3's are nice, but my problem with all the Kanger clearos is that they don't play nice with my Vamo. :(

Having said that, I like clearos better than cartos (rarely use cartos anymore) and carry clearos when I'm out and about. However, I really prefer rba's. I have both the Cheapie Dripper and Cutie Dripper from sun-vapers and I like them fine. For the price, I say they can't be beat. I also got the Vision Eternity and love it.

CE3's do not have replaceable heads, do not disassemble easily, need a syringe to fill

CE4's do not have replaceable heads, do not dissassemble easily to clean, no syringe needed

CE5's replaceable head, disassemble almost completely, easy to clean, no syringe needed

CE6's replaceable head, disassemble almost completely, easy to clean, no syringe needed

Diff between CE5 and CE6 be danged if I can tell one

I haven't used any others.

I got my CE6's from fasttech and they are working just fine not hit a dead one yet and I have tried 4 of the 7 pack. :)

There are also CE somethings with dual coils now - not sure if they are calling them a new CE# or just using an existing number and sub titling them 'dual coal'. I know some are made by manufacturers that 'brand them while others just seem to be generically produced probably from many different ones.

As for vendor to vendor quality consistency or even bran vs generic- they all seem to be pretty much to the same specifications at least the ones that you can replace then heads on since you can seem to use heads from different vendors etc and they work fine - I have never really noticed too a difference except one time. I am not sure if I just got the bad one in that run of CE5's, it was dropped in shipping or the manufacturer the vendor bought from was less into QA. It really was not a inconvenience since I order them from various places at various times and just crossed that vendor off my list for ordering CE5s (although I order lots of other stuff from them.

I have paid more for then with a brand name on them and seen absolutely no difference between them and those 'no name' ones, they are a pretty simple device so not a whole lot of leeway for creativity in them I guess except for 'version' numbers :)
