Here is my CE2.

Take off the outer plug and you can see the inner one down over the cup. Remove it.

You can see in this picture I put the outer plug in flush with the atty cup. You can see from the side there is no inner piece over the cup anymore.

I just received my CE4's and they make me cough! Guess I must be spoiled by my bottom feeder with a LR306 at 5.5v.. But it seems like the wick cant feed fast enough with higher voltages from my twist and with no way to force feed juice, this might be a fail for me.

So people are cutting V notches in the silicone atty cap where the wick meets it? or just pulling it up? forced to wait longer would make this a fail

Any suggestions on a clearomizer the same diameter as the twist which feeds better/faster?

I know I'm brand new here but I do have these CE4's with my KGO and the optional fixes would be to cut a SMALL ENOUGH "V" on each side of the silicone cap in there, directly where the wick leads meet to help the wicks...wick. Or you can cut the bottom JUST ENOUGH so that it won't clamp over the wicks so much with the cap/tip still on and sealing. i think cutting the "V"s is wiser.

Also helps to take slower draws (to keep up with the wick style carts), and twirl the liquid around often enough to keep wicks wet.

I have had the burnt taste as well but I rolled the clearo around so the liquid would cover the wicks again or sat it on its side for a bit... it worked.

Here is my CE4 and how the cap and wicks look... hope it helps... never had a dry hit on this one at all.

Guys, thanks for the ideas. I'm going to have to try this. I have a provari mini with Zen atty but it's way too much for me to bring it out to public. I like the CE4 with my tiny ovale ego 650m set up for my casual town vaping. I knotice that the ce4 was great but it did have a burned taste and was searching for a fix.

Arigato!
