Im a brand new to using vapors. Using VV ego with ce4 clearomizer. Loaded up some MBV juice let it sit for 5 mins and took 1 drag. Flavor was nice but on the exhale was a bit if what I would call a burnt taste. Its very slight. Let it sit 15 mins took 2 drags still the same slight burnt taste but good flavor. Im taking slow draws not taking it in as a normal cig. What did I do wrong and can it be fixed?

Did you thoroughly clean the CE4's before using them?

Also do your CE4's have a smooth base or a knurled base?

no didnt clean it yet and all 3 CE4's are the one pictured in #1

K, well first off, i generally recommend thoroughly cleaning any new clearos/tanks before intitial use. A hot water rinse, vodka soak, hot water rinse, and dry (if desired) will get rid most anything funky left over from manufacturing.

Being they have the smooth bases, they are the true disposable CE4's, the knurled base ones can be disassembled and cleaned/tinkered with easier.

I'd try to see if cleaning helps with the taste first, if not it may be a wicking issue.

If its not wicking properly, one option may be to remove the tip/mouthpiece and try to slightly raise the silicone stem cup (white with metal nipple, inside the tank) to give the wicks more room. With the mouthpiece out, you can grab it with tweezers etc, to pull it up a bit.

Since you're using a vv Ego, I'd try dialing down the voltage a bit. That taste may go away after one or two refills. I've also noticed clearos are more sensitive to heat with sweet flavors, and handle it much better with tobacco or menthol.

i did have it on high ( 4.2 ) for about 4-5 vapes. But now have it on Medium ( 3.7 )

Ok got it cleaned out. Still getting same results. I took a drag.....burnt taste. Turned it tip down let juice run down vaped again and didnt have the burnt after taste not sure if I had that flavor in my mouth and didnt notice it or what. Could it be a wicking problem?

Yup. I don't get top coil design. Put the liquid in the bottom, put the coil at the top, and then do battle with the laws of physics and see how it works out. You will be a lot happier overall with a bottom coil setup - no tipping and rolling around required.

Once you either burn in the wicking or get the burnt taste your cant get it out no matter how much soaking you do...it's always there. I used CE4s for only a few weeks until my first protank showed up and now all the ce4s are collecting dust and will NEVER be used again. Protanks and T3's or bottom feeders are the way to go since both fit the same heads and are easy peesy to rebuild and then your vaping quality will increase dramatically cause the stock kanger protank heads suck badly IMO.

Now if you really want flavour try using EVODS. Same head like PT and T3
