I posted this in another thread (the wrong thread) so I may as well try again. I have a ce4 that leaks onto the battery and as I have read this is a common issue. The thing is, the centre post that makes contact with the battery tends to move up and down quite a bit. When first screwing it onto the battery, I have to push down so it can reach the threading before starting to tighten.

There are some youtube videos which suggest pulling out the post a little, but mine seems to come out far too much as it is. If anyone has any other suggestions they would be very appreciated as I am stumped on this one. Sorry for the long read and thanks in advance.

You should not meant to put it up or down more. All it is tightened a silicon joint. so if you move it much it leaks. you should not play with this part . it touches down the battery even if it doesnt touch (if you use ego type batteries) you should slightly get the batteries top up (very little. microns play there not mm s ) if you did not alter the place of this rod more put it to the hilt in
If you fill your juice more than the scale it leaks again. if you try to inhale upwards it leaks

The bottom post moves up and down on a spring, it has little to do with anything from the juice. It'w supposed to move quite a bit, it's fine.

Likely your CE4 is leaking because you're either overfilling it, or your juice is too thin for the clearo. Never fill a CE4 above the 1.6 line. You can see where the wicks disappear into the air tube under the silicone cup inside, the juice should top out just under that.

If that doesn't solve it, use a different type of clearo or thicker juice. CE4s aren't exactly serviceable.
