Hi,
Yesterday I went to my local vape shop and I since then I was using ce4 clearomizers but they leaked so I decided to try a ce5.
But yesterday night I was vaping on my mvp2 with the ce5on and everything was good until it started to gurgle . so I unscrewed the ce5 and saw some juice in the battery connection of the MVP.
So I cleaned it and now it's fine .
But what's up with those ce4 and ce5, do they all leak?
I didn't got that problem with the I clear 16b that came with the mvp2.

As MzD said it's pretty much the nature of the beast. The secret to the CE4/5 clearos is making sure every thing is snug tight when assembling them (this doesn't mean screw it on to your battery really tight as this might damage it)

Also, they perform best when about 3/4 full, so don't overfill it as then you'll get juice into the airhole.

I suppose with any mass-produced piece of plastic you are going to get some that perform better than others. I used the CE5 successfully for a good few months when I first started vaping and I had minimal leaking / gurgling issues but I always had a drop or two of juice on my battery terminal. Just make sure you blot it up and keep your threads clean on your battery and charger.

Eventually, you might want to explore using other clearomizers out there. Each one will have it's own issues and tricks to get the most out of it.
In my opinion just replacing something that is not performing well for you with something else that others say works better is not a cost-effective strategy. For every person that recommends something, there'll be others that have had issues with the same topper.

Vaping is fiddly, but once you learn how your equipment works and what to do to fix it when it does go wrong, you'll be in a much happier place.

And when you see some juice on the battery connection how do you properly clean that?, so far I've been using a paper towel but I'm not sure if it's the way to go.

Q-tip (or cotton bud), paper towel, toilet paper, clean rag - pretty much anything will work, you just don't want that juice to get down into the battery.
I got into the habit of cleaning mine every refill.

Good idea, thanks.
But is there something similar to these c4 and c5 that doesn't leak and is not too expensive?
Also if I want to try another juice in the same clearomizer is it OK to clean it and put another juice in?
If yes what's the best way to clean them.

I use tissues. I just wad them up into a point and twist it in the nozzle thing like. It is all good, just be kind and don't use force. I do that every time I switch out tanks or go to the charger. ez peasy.

You don't clean them with water?

If you want that style clearo but one that tends not to leak profusely or dry hit I suggest you try Kangers botton coil clearos such as the Evod, t3s or mt3s. I started on the ce's for the first couple weeks until I ordered some of the above, haven't looked back. Had I stayed with them I probably would've gone back to cigs. Eek!

I find the vivi novas similar and so far they have worked great for me, but I still like the ce series of clearomizers. I find the evod clearos to be good but they are bottom coil unlike the ce5, im currently useing a 3ml mt3s evod clearo now. I changed to evods for the main reason being the ce type clearomizers dont carry well on a mvp2 in your pocket lol. ive lost count of how many of them plastic drip tips broke on me or the bottom sliver ring slightly lifted and leaked all over my pocket. :):):):)

I love these Aspire CE5 BDC atomizers (about $3.95) they never leak, and just rinse with warm water to clean.

The bottom coil clearos are good but I've seen a lot of posts about pretty much every clearomizer saying that they leak. For example if you slightly disturb an 'O' ring when cleaning it, you can have a really poor experience and not realize why.

As I said earlier, everyone will have an opinion about which clearos are better, but do a quick search and you'll see people having issues with them.

Best thing to do is to figure out why something isn't working correctly then fix it. This way, no matter which clearo you buy, you'll be able to get the most out of it.

I don't think a true non-leaking clearomizer has been invented yet.

i use vision ce5's and iclear16's.
i have found that when refilling only fill them to the second hash mark down from the full level.
this eliminates 100% of the flooding and 99% of the gurgling issues.
when your tank runs low the juice in the wicks will be thicker than the juice you are
refilling it with.if you top off the tank when the viscosity difference between the thicker
juice in the wicks evens out with the thinner juice you have added the wicks will suck up
a lot of juice flooding your coil and straight down the air hole.

Exactly. Yes I still use CE5's. Love 'em. If you get some gurgle, you probably got some juice down the air tube when filling it up. Screw the tip on secure. take the clearo off the battery. Blow several times through the tip ( yes blow through it with a paper towel on the other end to catch the juice being blown out) and then clean your batt connection. Vape away.
