Okay, not the prettiest in the world, but I am so pleased I didn't burn myself or fry the coil.

Thank you, thank you... I really couldn't have done it without the knowledge base of people on ECF. It's why I have been here for so long.
Nicely done. My first Rta I needed the husband, ECF cliffnotes and it did NOT vape well, it also leaked, not necessarily due to the atomizer but just my general lack of skill.
I will offer up in celebration my FIRST non leaking RTA, which was a Siren V2 (still my fave,. I have four of them) and also by then I was using rayon so that helped a lot. That day was a miraculous day, however, and I felt So Proud. Then immediately went into temp mode (my rationale for RTAs) which was a bit of a let down for this little vaper, as a MTL vaper it quickly became clear that I would only need it if I was out and about with fewer setups, but I definitely felt ACCOMPLISHED for a moment there.
LOL I guess it must be time for DIY eliquids, right?? (I kid... mostly although I will say I'm glad I attacked both at one, since I'm actually not terrible at DIY like building coils, etc.

I remember my first few attempts at rebuilding my Kanger protank,the first two shorted out and then Bingo.....it worked!!! Never bought a premade since and got a Kayfun shortly afterward.

I remember the first time i tried building a quad coil arrangement in a Youde "IGO-W6". I thought i'd use 24g round kanthal with no problems at all. Took me ages, ages !, so fiddly. Eventually, when it came to fitting to fourth coil i found the wire wouldn't fit in the positive post ! 
. I had to strip it all out and start again.
Started again with 25g kanthal. Took just as long as the 24g attempt, trying to get all the legs the same length n all that. 25g fitted just fine.
And after all that decided DTL isn't for me. Cannot be bothered with dripping every five minutes, changing batteries every 15. And charging !?, forget about it.
