Six Months to the day. After smoking for over 40 years, I never thought I would ever give them up. vaping has become more than a cigarette replacement, it is more a way of life. It is a hobby - trying out different attys, clearos, cartos, different mods, and DIYing - now there is an artform in itself.

Spent a fair bit along the way, but now have settled on a range of hardware to meet our (including my wife who gave up at the same time) needs. Have quite a few different flavours on the go at any one time. Latest fancy is mixing tobacco flavours with berries. Have developed a satisfying Oryental 4 (flavour Art) and Blackcurrant (flavour apprentice) mix. Did not like the tobacco flavours when I began, but now find them far more satisfying. I do like Desert Ship, RY4 and Black Honey Tobacco (this one requires at least 1 month steep) as stand alone flavours.

Prefer clearos over the others, particularly BDC. Provari stands as the centrepiece, but have a couple of other Innokin mods. Also use EGO batteries for when I head out.

Favourite vape - Oryental 4 + Blackcurrant in a Protank 3, sitting on the Provari after dinner and relaxing in front of the tube.

Been quite a ride.

Congrats! After 40 yrs of analogs and being free for 6 months is nothing short of a miracle! I am sure you will see (as I have) that there are so many success stories among us that it has to be working. I believe that if vaping does not get you off the analogs, one of two things are happening. One, you just don't want to quit. Two, you haven't found the sweet spot of flavor and/or nicotine content. Once you can balance the two, anyone should be able to kick the smellies for good. I have a coworker that tried to quit cold turkey on New Year's Day and by the 2nd he was ready to eat a bullet. He went back to analogs by 10 AM. I took him to the B&M I started out with this past Thursday and hooked him up. He hasn't had a regular one since. This is after 40 years as well. I hope he has the success we all seem to be finding. Keep after it and Vape On! :headbang:

40 years wow!! That's fantastic that you quit!! Congrats!! I smoked for 21 years. I'm new to vaping but I have incessantly been researching, reading, watching the pros online, etc! I also have a couple pals that run a vape shop in my town. It's only been a month for me but I'm getting the hang of it and I never want a filthy, disgusting cigarette ever again!!!!
Keep on vaping!!
