So I was working on ways to get that darn juice to get down in that cart.
I did the thermometer shake with so-so results. I decided to make a little device to help force that stuff down in there. This is take one and I will be refining it.

A few things:
1) before you give it a spin put the .... plug in. It same mess and wasted juice.
2) you don't need to swing it hard. It does fine with a nice smooth swing (like a lasso, or one handed jump rope)
3) I put 4 quarters in the bottom so it has some good weight.
4) You can use whatever kind of cap from a jug or anything that's a good size. I used the rubber end cap off a metal mop handle.

I'm sure someone has done something like this, but I thought I'd share it. It does work well.

Running a production company, I can't build one-up devices. So with a bunch of fuse holders and a couple of hours in the shop, I came us with this....

It should work well drying cartridges after washing. Simply spin out the water.

NOW THAT'S FUNNY

ok got that out of my system.... if one was a spinner THAT thing would definately do it :p

good job

man, thats awesome! I want one to dry mine, I was just going to throw them in the clothes dryer.

What about just putting the carto in the chuck of the drill so the centrifugal force pushes the liquid to the outside of the cart? It would have to be one-up though. (unless you had a long tube to stack them in.)

I might go get a pic of what I mean... or has it been done?

edit: pic.

Dogsbody, you're the one that's awesome. You have revolutionized cart filling. I have only used your method since you posted it. You inspired me to build the super spinner to pack the liquid, spin out the excess on the threads, and be able to wash and spin out carts.

Taryn - kudos to you as well.

5 years from now, people with be praising the pioneers of carto refilling .... Dogsbody and Taryn

Wow I'd kill for one of those lol, very nice work mate.

What I usually do is just use my V4L battery bag and spin it around, works nicely but it'd be cool to be able to do 4-5 at the same time.

lol, In five years I reckon they will be laughing at our cave-man methods. They will have proper self-dripping, long lasting micro devices that will be boring and no-one will like them anymore.

I reckon half the reason e-cigs as we know them are so successfull, is not because they mimic the act of smoking, but they just keep our hands and minds so busy thinking about tea-bags, visiting aquarium shops, hardwares, cake decorating stores, toy shops, stationary stores, pharmacies, vet and tractor stores, and now power-tools lol... and just generally walking around sizing up bits and pieces.... springs, tubes etc... haha.

You are too kind man, I didn't really 'do' anything... it's not even a mod, just a method.

I updated my previous post on page 1 with the pic of the "2pac spinner." lol.

It's not very hard to build. Just get a bunch of oversized fuse holders and mount them on a piece of metal or a 1/4" piece of plywood. Attach a bolt in the middle and spin away. I got the fuse holders that have a "stop" on the end so that the carts wouldn't centrifugally slide out of the holders.

Nice, I was going to ask about that.

Would encouraging the liquid to the bottom of the cart add to battery flooding potential?
If not
Would filling from the thread end (using the Carto Cap Method) help, as pulling the cap off sucks the liquid back down.

I have been filling from both ends to compare results and it seems minimal, I like pushing the mouth end in better so you dont need to clean the thread and I thought it would be better to draw excess away from the battery end incase of flooding, and also figured gravity would naturally draw it down when vaping.

I did notice a few people in the V4L sub-forum saying they give it the 'Tarryn Spin' and push a bit more in but I didn't understand where they were pushing the liquid to, now I get it.

A self-filling adition to your Carto-wheel could be:

Have a pool (fixed bottle) of liquid in the middle with tubes running between the pool and the cartos so when it spins it self-fills all the carts and 'Tarryn Spins' them as well!

haha, awesome.

haha, awesome.

Why not just fill the caps, alla your method, and spin it in? Keeps it simple, without all the added gadgetry.

My Taryn spinner.

Broken brush handle, busted shoe lace, a leather keyring I hated and didn't use, a clip off a plastic id badge I found on the floor (to keep the carto snugly in place in the leather strap of the keychain), some electrical tape to make it the shape I wanted. walla. Works for mixing juices in 10ml bottles also, I just move the clip.

need to make one of them drill plates...for my dremel...Zooom!
