Hey guys / gals,
I have been doing some reading, however i can not find a clear consensus on ceramic rope for use as a wick. Im looking to get McMaster-Carr "Loosely Twisted ceramic" . Seems like it would work great and from what i have read people seem to like it. I have played with SS, I do like it but for me seems like more a hassle and i tend to end up re wicking with silica instead of the SS, just seems easier, however am trying to get away from using silica wicks, I'm mainly thinking of using this in my Protank when driving and at the office, and MT3 when flying out of town on business, otherwise i will probably continue using the SS in my AGA-T for my at home delight. Thoughts and recommendations greatly appreciated.
