CES News - No more liquids shorting batteries?

The claim is that Zagg (same company that makes phone protectors) has created a process that binds a chemical to electronics that prevents liquids from causing shorts. Obviously, the process has massive potential for all electronics, but there is promise for our industry, too.

Carto overfills resulting in shorted batteries could be a thing of the past. Cleaning the threads on auto becomes much less hazardous. And of course, the occasional e-cig toilet excursions are far less dangerous (still should probably replace the cartos, though).

Anyway, just thought it was a neat technology I'd pass along. No idea when (or if) it'll actually get to market. Relevant links below.

I've got no affiliation w/ Zagg, CES or anyone else mentioned. If this is a bad forum for this, feel free to move where appropriate.
