Still crossing fingers for him. I had to get the cigs out of the house, poor will power. Now when I'm around them, I don't even want one. Hopefully it comes easier to him than you expect. (hubby thinks I'm nuts being on the pc all day too)

It has started!!!

He decided today was the day, and put me in charge of his last four or five analogs. So I had him all set up this morning with my passthrough and an xl battery. Hid his analogs (like he asked me to) before going to sleep.

He's trying hard and stressed to the gills. He still coughs a little when taking a deep draw but it's getting better as he keeps going. I'll be very proud if he just makes it through the day on vaping and what is left in his pack. I am under orders to dole them out if he asks for them, but to hide them so he isn't as tempted.

I know he's going to drive me nuts today, so keep your fingers crossed for both of us!!!

Taryn, you are doing a wonderful thing. For many of us, quitting the cigs takes a team effort. Your being supportive and helpful without nagging (ie., my ex) will go a LONG way toward helping him.

At least he's trying. Even that takes guts.

I just passed day three, and it required some will-power when I first woke up (always three cigarettes right after I got up - like clock-work). I'd vape for ten minutes, stop and think "gosh, I need a cigarette!" - then check myself...

I'm nagging my best friend now, but his marlboros always smelled disgusting to me anyway.

Congrats on your success and best of luck to your SO - and you - the one that has to put up with him. . .

Yesterday went pretty well, he had six analogs which is fantastic for him! He sure is cranky though, I feel bad because it was so easy for me.

Today is a bit rougher, he is still trying. I placed an order for some 36 mg juice and cartos in some new flavors he was interested in. I sure hope they don't make him cough up a lung but the medium isn't cutting it for him.

Being supportive woman is tough, sigh.
