So im running a cisco 1.5 ohm 306....AW IMR 18650s....Popped the atty it shorted and collapsed my top plunger spring and battery cup spring in my Omega.....


I submitted a ticket and what not, but figured I'd ask here aswell considering last time my omega had an issue you mailed me out a new slide assembly and battery bushing as fast as you could.

yikes! glad you only had the springs collapse and not anything more serious. couldn't you just stretch them back out?

No they are flat/bent...pulling them up will work in the battery cup but im sure the spring is weakened..and the omega plunger spring is...flat...like flat flat...no chance in saving that

Getting ready to answer the ticket The springs can only handle about 8 Amps then they loose temper from the heat. This is actually a good thing, I have done it a few times I was out and about all day, too bad I did not see this before I left.. could a got them in the mail today....
