Are taking long slow steady pulses or sucking fast? Are you taking any dry pulls to encourage wicking?

This happened to me at first. I was worried it wasn't wicking enuff so punched a second hole. I would take dry pulls every 15-20 puffs.

When I just slowed down my puffing and went longer steady draws, quit messing with the hole, it all works fine. I chain vape, 6-9ml a day with an 80/20 mix. No more gurgling sound, just a wonderful snap crackle pop!

As it is DCC it will heat up making the juice more fluid. So the occasional 10-15 min rest is good. Even vape trains need a small break!

What helps with the wicking is the heat generated from the DCC.

Now I have also tried some 3ohm SCC and problems. First it doesn't wick like the DCC. So dry pulls are required but lead to flooding. My guess its because it is a single with half the wicking material as a DCC and less ability to breath if you will in the center tube of the carto that results in related issues.

I will try a second hole in the 3ohm SCC and see about that.

Yeah, just try to take slower longer steady pulls and the train will vape!

Good morning all and Jagellpuff The Smoke Tec 1.5 ohm is a dual coil and 1 prepunched hole.So you think another hole would be better? 2 holes total?I do have a punch so I can make small holes. If the heat helps the wicking maybe a higher ohm carto.I really like the dual coil for throat hit and temp.Maybe a boge lr xl carto?

The 1.5ohm DCC wicks fine for me. I tried 2 holes but it just over wicked. The 3ohm SCC is the one I had issues with.

Now I will say, my last order of cartos I am using do not have a good taste out of the package. There is an off taste, I hope it goes away.

I put two holes in mine and even if the second hole is tiny it and never bubbles it seems to help regulate the pressure. I have a 3.0 ohm dual coil in a tank. I punch 2 big holes in it and it works great with Reg mix pgvg. But I have to turn it up all the way. And the draw is tight on these. I am thinking 2.5 dual coil 2 medium/large holes on my Darwin in a tank is going to be a winner!

Try and take the carto off the mod and blow through it from the battery end, and use a paper towel or napkin to cover the other end. The hole down the center of the cart should be clear, and you should be able to see through it when holding the carto up to a light.

And also check the mod connection and make sure there's no juice in the threading.
