I've been tobacco free for a month. I was a 2+ pack a day smoker and find myself constantly chain vaping [I guess thats what you would call it.] I feel I am searching for a satisfying huge TH. I started ordering only 24mg. and using my tornado tank or varicool mod. What gear, liquid or flavor could satisfy my cravings. Any suggestions or similar stories would be appreciated.

Throat hit is a combination of nicotine strength and warmth of the vapor. Many people vape 36mg liquid. But I would suggest getting a good 5 volt or variable volt PV as well as trying some dual coil cartomizers (only works on larger batteries). Two of the best models in those two categories are:

5 volt GLV2: Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid - Great Lakes Vapor

Variable volt (actually power regulated) Darwin: Nhaler

I also have been using pretty much 24mg and someone advised me on this board to get a small supply of 30mg - not for my regular vape, but for my hard craving moments (side barred).

I decided to go DIY so I will mix a small batch when my order gets here just for that purpose. Once I get past this I plan on cutting my nicotine levels back bit by bit and see how it works, but I am hoping this gets me past the hard craving moments...

I am sure others will also come up with suggestions - many could very well be better than what I am going to try...

Torque 56 from halo in 24mg. It gives me that same beast TH you seek. Its my go to. I can't use it first thing in the AM because it hits so well. I feel like I should get paid for advertising from these guys...I'm really just that big of a fan.

+1 for Torque 56 for TH. It's my go-to for kicking a cig crave in the .....

Have you tried dripping with a LR atomizer? The 306 atomizers get really hot and have a massive throat hit. Also, I found it really depends on your setup. An ego for me had ok th to start with for the first hour then drastically dropped off. Once I moved to a silver bullet I found I was almost vaping like the first time I started it was so extreme. I was using an ego and I believe while it is a 3.7 v device, it rates under this and declines fast over time. The LiIon batteries give a closer hit to 3.7 volts and drop off slower. The lr atties I have heard give you a similar experience to a 5volt vape.

I vape 18mg right now and have tried some 26mg, but I find this too actually reduce the overall taste of the juice and be too much for me.

Some personal experience to offer, hope it helps.

18 year smoker, pack a day, analog free for 2 1/2 weeks now.
I've really noticed that when I'm stressed out (happens at work a LOT) I hit the PV a little hard. Initially the TH is OK, but the more I hit it, the less I get out of it. Perhaps the chain-vaping is numbing your throat some. I have noticed that after a while off the vapor, I'll get that TH again.

Like you, I'm still looking for a bit more TH.
I've also noticed that some of the fruitier flavors hit a bit harder for me. I would prefer the coffees and vanillas, but blueberry, pear, strawberry, orange, guava, and a few others I don't remember hit harder and more consistently than what I thought would be my favorites. I've tried all different levels of nicotine and the higher doses (at least for me) did nothing except make me feel like I was overdosing on the nicotine.

I'm working on my 3rd sample pack from bluemistvaping dot com, still looking for the right one.

Hope that helps, good luck.
