Hi! I'm new here and have tons of questions. First a little back story. I've been vaping for 3 weeks gave up analogs the first day was a pack and a half a day smoker. My dad started vaping and I tried it. I love love love it! I chain vape and prefer a high vg with only 6 nic. Started at 18 and worked down.

Ok my question, like I said I chain vape and don't like the throat hit. I like big clouds and go threw a lot of juice. I currently have a kanger but really want to try a vapeonly bcc mega. Is it a good clearo for what I like? (Chain vape, high vg, big clouds) thx

I tried the vapeonly and it was good at first but soon became a drink straw(even the best juice tastes awful sucking it in). I think the press fit is the problem-if you move around and you setup gets jostled in any way it affects the coil(my theory anyway). I like the protank better and I really like the iclear 30- yes, I know, it is a top coil, but I have never had a dry it and I chain vape with it constantly. loads of vapor and taste with those 16 wick coils!

My theory about clearomizers is that if they have the potential to leak, they will leak. The good news is you can fix the leaks. The bad news is that you have to, or switch to something else. Anything with juice in it can leak, I know, I can find a way, but in your question, I have to go with the Protonk over the Vape Only because of the press fit vs. screw in base. O rings always go bad, just the way of it. Good Luck!

+1 on the Pro Tank. Really can't go wrong there.

I second that. I have found ways to leak many a clearo. It has also been my experience that vaping thicker juices requires more maintenance.

I can't speak to the pro tank since I haven't tried it yet but I love the evod and the MT3S great vapor and the flavor is awesome. I have 3 vape only bcc's and they start of great but the coils don't last very long and then the flavor is garbage. I know there is nothing fancy about the kangers but I have had no issues with leaking and the flavor and vape are awesome.

I got the metallic taste from my I clear 30 and will never use them again, just my experience some love them. My protank worked great the first month or 2 now even after changing heads it stopped wicking properly and of all things get dry hits on a bottom coil with a full tank ... is that lol. Besides that I dislike the gurgle and small amount of liquid to clean up off my contacts from them. I love my vision vivi nova minis I have one on my twist every time I'm out of the house a very rarely floods and only once leaked due to a bad head that wasn't made properly.

I really prefer rebuildable drippers but keep them at home.

I'm falling in love with my Vapeonly BCC. The best head for chain vaping is 2.1/2.2 ohms. If you find your liquid is a little thick, remove a couple of top wicks with a pair of pliers. At first I complained about the thin vapor until I did this. Do it softly until you see bubbles rise in the liquid. Another trick is not to fill it completely, needs some empty space to push liquid into the head. When you get about half tank, at 9/10 W you'll get plumes of vapor. No need to dry burn, just run plenty of hot water through it and leave in alcohol or vodka overnight. It'll gurgle a little when you get to the bottom of the tank, just roll some tissue and shove it into the channel and turn the clearo upside down. That should solve the problem right away. Clean the dripwell every now and again to avoid condensation from getting to your mouth. And, if you feel you're sucking eliquid, unscrew the clearo a tad to get better air flow. That should give you an amazing vape for a long time!

After months of fiddling with evods and pro tanks and removing, replacing flavor wicks etc. i realized that kanger products are just not that good. Vapeonly BCC gives me consistent flavor without the dry hits and metallic and machine oil aftertaste of the evods, pro tanks, t3s and the likes. The vapeonly does not have a good rep but i believe that mainly comes down to price. Vapeonly heads are double the price but i think that is money well spent if you want a consistent good flavor. Don't fall for the pyrex hype like i did. If a juice cracks a plastic tank you should not be putting it in your lungs period!

I have been using two VapeOnly BCC Megas and two BCC Minis for the past few weeks with 80%VG e-liquids and I've been chain vaping them constantly with absolutely no issues with flavor, leaking or gurgling. But that wasn't always the case.

I've done two things to each head I use. I remove one or two of the top flavor wicks depending on how thick the liquid is. Some of my 80% liquids are actually not that thick, on those I only remove one wick, on the thicker ones I remove two. The other trick I've been doing to make sure that everything gets pressed down tight when you screw the base onto the tank is adding a second silica cap over the post from another head. I push the skirt of the top one over the bottom one and it basically adds a thicker seal on top of the head. When doing this the post on the center of the tank presses down on the atty more firmly and it makes sure that the flange on the middle of the atty is properly pressed against the silicone seal on the bottom of the base/cap. Using them like this they have been working flawlessly! Only gripe is that my heads are lasting roughly 1 1/2 - 2 weeks of use with my thicker juices but that is to be expected with high VG juices.

The other thing I've been doing when re-filling them is making sure that I wipe down the area around the atty on the base with a piece of paper towel to get the excess juice off from the threading so that it doesn't seep out when I'm screwing the base down. I also make sure I wipe down the silicone cap on top of the atty where the flange on the center post presses down on the atty to help ensure a proper dry seal when putting it back together and finally I roll up a long thing piece of paper towel and wipe down the air passage through the center post as I usually get a drop or two of liquid in there when taking it appart. This prevents any liquid from getting into my mouth on the first few drags.
