After HOURS of continued research, I decided to go with the innokin vv v3 as a starter vv/vw device. I know it won't last me all day without charging, but I read great reviews, like the idea of being able to adjust, and found a great deal here:

ITASTE VV V3.0

Apparently it's a grand opening sale- buy four 15ml bottles of liquid (Johnson's Creek included) at $9.99/per, and receive the starter kit for free. Only $4.99 shipping, so as long as it's not a scam (I'll keep you updated) it seemed like a good deal to me.

Now I just need suggestions for something to put on top that will allow me to chain vape. Damn, I really like all those high-end mods, but just can't spend $200 right now. Put a bunch of stuff up on Amazon and eBbay, so hopefully that will cover my next purchase. I like the mech mods, but don't want something I have to recharge/change batteries/refill every 1-2 hours... My next step will probably be a bottom feeding box mod (REO seems to be the best choice).

So... Carto tank for the iTaste v30? Brand, links, anyone? Or something else entirely? Kanger Tx? Starter kit does come with 5x iClear 16s, but I'm leery of clearos with my chain vaping habit and all. And don't want to spend too much time/money replacing/rebuilding. I'd like to order as quickly as possible so I can use battery and top together (assuming battery IS being mailedl...)

Thanks in advance!

I chain vape clearos, As a matter of fact Im vaping my iClear30 right now Have been since i woke up!

Carto tanks are low maintenance tanks, Prime correctly, fill and your ready to vape. Kanger tanks like the PT2 and Aerotank are Pretty good tanks by themselves, Rebuilt however are a whole different/better experience.

As for the battery dilemma, You shouldn't have to worry about recharging an 18650 mod for at least a day even with chain vaping. When I go through Chain Vape phases my 18650's will last me a good day 1/2 at least. Especially when I'm blasting Electro/Dubstep all the time I tend to vape alot Lol.

Exactly what DetraMental said :)

Top carto tank is IBTanked - that is the best thing to get if you can afford it. They are pricey, but worth every penny. The second best that I am willing to recommend is vapor-mania - they have a hand blown glass 5ml carto tank its actually on a pretty cheap sale right now and I have several and they are the closest in quality to IB that I have.

Great Choice on the VV V3 :D

Wow, that does look like a fantastic deal. Never heard of the place, but of course, it's the "Grand Opening." Gotta start somewhere. I don't have the VV3, but for free (with the juice purchase), just for the iclear 16's is a great deal.

I'm a heavy, chain vaper, too. Ironically, I didn't mind the iclear16's that much. That VV3 will let you dial down the volts, to minimize over heating. My bottom coil clearos (one of every Kanger, lol), love to flood with the chain vape. I was too impatient to tinker with those. Got me multiple batteries, so I could switch between them all, to prevent that (laugh at me, but it works, lol).

Like you plan, as soon as I had the $$$ for the Reo, I got right on board with them. Ultimate heavy, chain vaper's dream (IMO). In the meantime, the VV3 is a solid performer in the "stick battery" category. VV is a plus; "free" is even better.

Thanks for the advice on the vapor-mania tanks. The IBTanked is actually the one that keeps popping into my head, so I might just spring for one. I'll do some research on the price/quality differences now. And since I'm new to anything other than my V2 cigalikes, I'm sure ANYTHING is going to be better. These things burn so hot that I have 3 PVs in rotation and I still have to let them cool!

Spring for the IB if you are able - its worth it. If you cant due to the larger purchase on the juice and VV V3 - the vapor-mania tanks dont disappoint, especially for the price. :D

If you are coming from the V2 cigalikes, which I did too, I would start with what the kit gives you and take your time figuring out what better option for you to top it with. You are going from ecigs to vaping. For me it was a whole new world.

As far as I know the vv v3 is the newest model, has both ego and 510 threads? Mine does anyways

I ordered this as a backup and the tracking says it has been shipped.

Which one on that site is the better vape? The iTaste vv v 3.0 or the iTaste MVP 2.0?

That is an awesome choice, I use the Innokin and the Kanger.
The every day price that I get the Innokin is 10.99 I think and the shipping is 3.25, no matter how much I buy.
They have a few starter kits but will probably find what you want at a good price. Check it out. I am the deal queen :)

I have both, same vape. it's just a battery lol. the MVP lasts a lot longer but it's the same tech inside other than the size of the battery.

The only thing I have noticed difference wise is my protank 2's don't hit very well on the vv3, as where the MVP2 works with everything I have.

Went ahead and got the MVP 2.0. Hope it does me well

For chain vaping, consider a plugin cord instead of burning batteries all the time.

also worthwhile to get an adapter to put on top and separate it from the topper to keep leaks from getting on it.
leaks kill battery electonics eventually because the 510 connection has a kind of material that acts as an insulator between the center pin positive pole and the outer threaded metal negative pole, and the insulator seems to be semi porous.
