Im using epower by smoktech from sweet-vapes using with attys and xl boge cartos I have a 3.5 ml tank I have not yet used because I still need to use my dremil and add a slit my juices are 30mg nic everything I have has come from sweet-vapes my next stop might be the pinkspot not sure yet. My question is does anyone chain vape? Is there such a thing as vaping to much? Im vaping alot switching batteries at least once a day and going through juice like crazy. Alot of people keep telling me oh just smoke a cig and even though I want to I dont want to. I dont want to start my days all over. I want far away from cigs! I could vape even more than I do but trying to have some control! Lol P.S. Yes, you can vape too much. It's not very likely, but it can happen. You can actually OD on Nic which usually causes headaches for minor ODs and can move to nausea, vomiting, ........, difficulty breathing or even death if you really over do it.

But with vaping it's fairly gradual so you'd have to try pretty hard to OD on nic so you don't have to worry about it too much. Just be aware it's possible and pay attention to any possible symptoms. And once you get further along and aren't craving cigs as much, you can try to start dropping your nic content down a bit. Use only what you need.

Oh, you might want to try some lower nic, like 18mg or even lower. Your chain vaping might be more the oral fixation habit than the nicotine addiction. If so, a lower nic will let you chain vape with less risk.

Hi Moon,

I chain vaped like crazy for my first few weeks - really still do from time to time. It's completely normal when you first start. First thing that I would look at is your mg strength of the nicotine. If you are having a lot of cravings for analogs you may want to step it up a notch to see if this helps. Make sure to drink plenty of water, vaping is very dehydrating and it's super important when you are vaping a lot.

If you are taking in too much nicotine your body will give you some clues well before you are in the danger zone. Nausea, dizziness, headache, drooling or slurred speech are all indicators that you have taken too much nicotine. If that should happen drink a ton of water and lay off the PV for a bit. The nicotine will flush from your system within a few hours. You will have to work pretty hard and make yourself very sick before you'll do any damage from nicotine.

Don't worry about what people think, you're taking a huge positive step in your life by putting down the analogs. Do whatever you need to do to quit. The chain vaping will slow a bit eventually (or you'll just be less conscious of it) and you will find that you can go a while between vapes.

Congrats for taking the plunge.

Congrats!!!! :toast: 8 days is a great accomplishment. I am 2 and something months in and still have times when I chain vape. (ok, a lot of times...) If you are using 30mg., you might want to try something lower so that you do not get too much nic, but the important thing is to stay off the analogs. Yes, you can vape too much. If you do, you might feel nervous, get a headache, stomachache, etc. Just put the pv down and it'll pass. Some of my friends and relatives don't get it either. As time passes, and you still don't smoke analogs, they may come around. Either way, keep vaping. Oh, and welcome to the forum!!

Realize the tank system uses far more juice than cartos and cartridges. I began vaping 36 mg X 50 ml per week...too much?? nope cuz it got me off the analogs. There are also WTAs in tobacco that are suspected to be far more addictive than nicotine and for the first 2 weeks you'll be suffering withdrawal from these. I eventually began going on short trips without my PV and it wasn't a big deal but that wasn't until I'd been vaping for 4 months. I now vape 10 mg during the day and 8 mg in the evening X 40 ml per week. I promise you it will get better once you get over this initial hump. As for what other people think about my vaping I could care less BUT I do have a great support system among family and friends...eventually you will find people that are supportive and realize that Ecig is a legitimate smoking cessation program.
Hey if I'm hangin' off a cliff I'm not going to ask Society or friends if it's ok to save myself :D
Happy Vaping.

I can say that the first day I stopped smoking I vaped so much that I ended up nauseous and with a killer headache. My two weak points for wanting to smoke are drinking and driving (not at the same time!). This was day 1 driving home. Chainvaped the entire drive (about 45-50 mins). That was not a good time near the end, but I just put it down for 30 mins and everything cleared up. Now I'm paying more attention to my body and it's reactions.

Sorry multitasking again...50 ml per week. I DIY my juices so cost is really nothing. I now spend maybe $1.50 per week on juice. Add another 50 cents per week for the carto (bought in bulk with friends) so total is $2.00 per week.

I couldn't afford to vape 50ml a day. May I ask how much you smoked before you vaped?

People who are telling you to smoke a cig are jealous that you've found a safer alternative. They are too chicken to try themselves. If you cave, that will be your choice and no one elses. Don't let them pressure you.

As for chainvaping, I do. I was a 4 PAD smoker. Listen to your body. It will tell you it you've had too much nic, but if you're doing fine without any health symptoms, then you're not ingesting too much.

If you're having bad cravings, you need to get a bottle of higher mg nic and use it when the cravings are really bad.

I still chain vape. My mg's used are 12 to 14mg, sometimes down to 6mg (at night). Been vaping awhile. But at first vaped 24mg to 36 mg juice. Was a 2 pack a day smoker. DIY saves the cash, so my juices are mostly DIY. Don't listen to those nay sayers. You are doing a good thing for yourself, by vaping. And the flavors are amazing! They taste better than a stinky stick. Just be sure to drink plenty of water. That is a must.

That makes more sense! I thought 50 ml a day, you should be dead! Glad to see you aren't overdoing it that bad :p

I've been vaping for the last 2 weeks or so solid, pretty much chain vaping from the time i wake up to the time i go to bed. I vape 18mg all day and 10mg at night. No ill effects yet. I think its more the oral fixation of actually hitting/breathing 'smoke' that gets me. I did smoke about a pack a day before the vape. I cant say im completely off the analogs, ive had about 2 whole cigarettes in the last 2 weeks, so im happy with that.

Driving is a HUGE problem for me, i need to either smoke, or bite my nails while driving. my commute is about 40 minutes each way, every day, so i burn thru almost an entire tank just on my way to work.

Drinking is an interesting time for me, i dont really crave the cigs too much and actually enjoy the vape with a nice buzz, but after a few too many i seem to forget i even have a PV, or how to use it....... "lemme bum a square, man" Working on getting over that, but i drink too much....

Driving is also the toughest for me. The first thing I did was light up when I got in my car. I even knew how many cigarettes I could cram into a trip or commute. Now I don't leave home without my PV. If I forget I will go back and get it. Too many convenience stores between home and work to buy analogs and still need my security blanket of a PV to pass them by. I also pretty much chain vape all day. In the two months I have gone from 24mg nicotine to 18mg to 12mg and in a week or two will place an order for 8 or 6 to start working in. Good luck finding your sweet spot and working from there.

Started vaping about 3 weeks ago. Haven't touched analogs since. However, I do agree that chain vaping was a problem initially. I just kept vaping on and on. Only after I switched to higher level of nicotine (started with 6mg and now I'm on 18mg) was I able to control the urge to vape.
Sleep deprivation was the most prominent side effect of constant vaping. I had trouble falling asleep at night for the first 10 days now. Still do, but its not as bad as it was when I first started.

I had the same problem with sleeping and I now vape a lower mg in the evening. 10 mg- daytime and 8 mg- evening.

I actually keep "spares" in my car's glove compartment in the eventuality that I'll forget my PV, or if my carto or atty craps out, etc. I also keep an ecig car adapter which has come in handy more than a few times. I used to smoke about two packs a day. That said, it's been over a year since I lit up and I would never go back to smoking even if I had to endure a long drive without.

I seem to vape more now than when I started. I quit analogs as soon as I got my 808 kit, I had the prefilled cartridges and went through about one a day and the battery lasted about the same. Now I refill with juice and have found some really great flavors (thanks to this site) and I vape more now. Hard to say how much because I keep a couple cartos in rotation with different juices. When I am on the computer using my passthru it is always in my hand.

I tend to chain vape at night when I'm on my computer, and I definitely chain vaped all the time when I first made the switch. I bounce between 18 - 24mg, depending. My husband still smokes analogs, so I'm sometimes still tempted to bum one of his. I find when that happens or I'm having a bad craving, just bumping up the nic level and waiting a few minutes usually makes all well again.

I figure I'd rather chain vape, than chain smoke, so I don't worry about it too much. Plus, there are days I barely pick up my PV at all, so in the end, it probably all balances out. ;)
