I had a problem with fastech a long time ago. I bought a mod and it was defective. It just ended up being a huge hassle. The emails alone went on for weeks. Yes, after a long fought battle they did replace it. The Challice's were under $10.00 a pice. And no, I don't have $20.00 to throw in the trash either. I see how that could sound arrogant, I didn't mean it as such. I just thought about and felt like, life's short, you have to pick your battles. I just wanted to forget it and move on. Not pursuing a refund was my loss. I know many people have had great experiences with fasttech, and it wasn't my intention to offend anyone.

No offense at all. I was just offering a solution.
I've only had one dud in about a hundred from FT and they took care of it within 48 hours and had a credit on my account.
That's better response time than most legit modders, and they didn't even ask for a return.

There's a simple 2 min fix for the airflow hole.
The loose posts however would definitely warrant a refund.
The original may be better, I'll never know because it's too expensive for me to drop that kinda loot on a 14mm dripper.

I'll never know either, to much for me also!

I got one of these from AC where the post came out instead of the screw. I held the post with pliers, unscrewed the screw, then screwed the post back in. I don't see any reason that would cause a short.

I also had to do the realigning the air hole thing, which I found much harder and annoying, personally. Even after all that, it won't thread all the way down on anything. It goes down part way and then spins in place. I don't even understand how that's physically possible, but anyways, I got it working on my cheap, plastic Smokeless Owl, albeit with quite a large gap.

These do seem to require a lot of work just to get them functioning, if at all, but I kind of like them, and I ordered both versions from FastTech. Hopefully at least one will work out, and or can be used as spare parts.

For a short time a year ago I bought a few of clones/counterfeits from FT. That was before I found out that there existed plenty of low cost authentics.

But not so for BF attys. So I couldn't resist getting two Chalices. Sadly both had to be trashed(afc alignment/posts). Opened a ticket with FT but there was so much back and forth that I finally gave up.
