*gulp* 6.00 per screw!? Holy smokes! What are they made of unobtanium...oh wait that is an oakley product.

Thanks for the heads up, though.:D

Actually these are cheap compared to buying spares for the Chalice II (when they have them at all). The EUR is way down now to 1.06 USD compared to the around 1.40 it was at all last year, but even only at about $9.50 each now plus overseas shipping it still adds up. Mark didn't have any, but I got lucky when a gent here sold me 2 for my C II shipped for way less. Thanks again for that.

Had to grab another one today from Rob. Just couldn't help myself.

And for for all you out there reading this that are members of the the heavy thumb oversquonk brotherhood like myself looking for why you're not getting a good pull on one of these...Be very soft with your squonks and the gurgling will go away. Finesse is the name of the game with these, if you take it easy some wonderful vape is in store for you.

Anyone remember drip shield one could buy for 901s and 510 attys? Forgot the site of course that first came out with them..

Anyways I'm wondering if the air flow on a challice is kinda like that of a drip shield as the air had to go from the top of a drip shield between the atty body and shield down to the air hole in the threads to get to the coil. Meaning warm air reaches the coil insted of cool air directly to the coil on most rbas. Adds resistance as well to the draw as well.

I remember drip shields and it was Empire mods that came out with them...The draw on the Chalice can be as tight as that if you want or much airier with the AFC. with the Chalice wide open I find it simular to the draw of the RM2 drilled out to 1/16.

Just when I almost rationalized myself into spending $150 for an atomizer... something just stopped me.
The RM2 is doing just fine. That's money on another Reo Grand. :D

And that's the problem! Now that I have a chalice, my RM2 and Nuppin aren't being used. The only option I can see is to get another Grand. Or maybe a mini. Or perhaps one of the new resin versions...

Regardless, I see another expenditure in my future!

I've had a stupid cold for awhile but, rebuilt/wicked both my Chalice II & III bcoz I was getting weird tastes. (But again, I've been sick). Not sure why but my Chalice III is throwing off a metal/metallic taste I'm not getting on the II???

I filled both with familiar juice (meaning nothing new) and granted I really can't taste the juice, but I taste metallic on one. Anyone else experience that at all on the III? May need to swap out the DT and see if that makes a difference. I usually never use metal DTs bcoz of this reason but the III DT didn't do that to me at first.

It's prob the usuall either too much wick choking coil or the coil position or height.

I'll say it before someone else.. pull the top off and let's check it out.

P.S. Yeah im on like the beginning of week 3 of the same damn cold. Sucks. Prob need to hit the docs but it's been draining for the last week and a half. Should be going away anytime..

LMAO! Let's just say I wish I had bought stock in Mucinex, NyQuil and Halls Cough drops. Heavy doses of all before I finally got prescription meds which didn't help much

Shoulda just went for the fruit loops

There's still time :)

On the metal taste front, I've only had two colds since I started vaping (coming on two years) and both times I got funky off tastes. Juices had elements I never tasted before (nor did I want) and there were a few funky aspects (metal, plastic, burnt) that were pronounced. Doctor friend suggested it was congestion causing blocked taste buds and nasal receptors, resulting in some pronounced sensations.
