I smoke a 510, I have since Last October(2009). I smoke nigh constantly when at home, and sporadically at work.
For my first 9-10 months, I used standard 510 batteries. When my first six or so died off, I switched to the Ego battery.
I've been told that Atomizers last a month, maybe 2-4 at best. I'm still using my first atomizer.
I used Johnson Creek menthol juice at first. From month 2 to month 12, I used nothing but peppermint oil, and PG and VG based Nic juice.
Sometimes I use 1/20th peppermint oil. Sometimes I use 1/10th peppermint oil. I prefer it REALLY strong.
Just about every post I've seen says that what I've been doing should DESTROY my atty, but that hasn't happened. If anything it has far outlived the life expectancy of the average device.
I've blown out my atty twice, as in, cleaned it out via blowing into it. The first time was when I got it to remove the primer fluid, the second time was when I blew out the menthol before putting the peppermint in.
I'll gladly let you know if and when my atty dies.
Anyone using primarily oil and experiencing shorter than normal atty life?
