I'm trying to make a final decision on which mod to get. A couple of models are in the running including the Chameleon. I'd like to know what the physical dimensions are of the lizard (w/o an atty), for both the standard sleeve and the extended sleeve. Length and diameter.

Thnx

Btw, the images in this thread were helpful to get a general idea of how big or small these things are... http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-side-comparison-e-cigs-mods.html#post1167942

With the extension sleeve and 901 adapter no atty about 4 3/8ths (inches) Diameter about 2 3/4. Without the sleeve, or rather the standard it is about 3 inches on the nose. Great unit, very nice feel and weight and with the button setup easy to pocket carry without much worry (tested yesterday during Alice in Wonderland)

hope this helps:D

I'll put it in easier terms LOL The regular Chameleon without the sleeve is the same diameter as an Elmers 7g glue stick and about a half inch shorter. I walked around with a glue stick in my hand and in my pocket one day to see what I thought of the size. At least for me that gave me a better idea of the size than just reading measurements. I don't have the sleeve so can not help with that size.

Happy vaping!!

Thnx! Cool ruler :)

19mm wide
72mm high - standard
106mm high - extended

So, more like a roll of pennies. Very slim and trim in size indeed!

Ok what has the world come to when you can't even find a penny laying around your house any where LOL I finally found 1 penny and yes it is almost exactly the same diameter as a penny. I was lucky to find 1 penny, let alone a roll of them LOL. It is a great size, I thought it was going to be much bigger than it is. It is very comfortable to hold and use. I passed it by at first and purchased a Tornado instead. Well I gave up the Tornado and got the Chameleon and I love it so much better than the Tornado. You won't be sorry if you get one.

Wow Go Val! Teaching her well! Thanks for putting her to the test Mr Madness!

LOL WWAY! I have a good joke for not being able to find a penny, but for obvious reasons can't say so! LOL
Thank you to you and Swipple for helping this fine gentleman out!

Regardless of whichever pv you decide to go with Madness, I know you would make the right decision and just like everyone else, I hope you enjoy it to the fullest. Making a decision can be fairly difficult. even though I'm a businessman, I'm not a salesman, if you would like to state your hobbies or anything you do day to day, I'll be happy to try to match you with your perfect pv. :)

She really did that with style!! I thought it was so cool I went and bought a digital caliper on eBay LOL I have one that has to be 50 years old. I purposely forgot where it is so I don't have to use it any more. I think I deserve a new digital one :)

A businessman and a matchmaker :) Oh... I know I'll be getting the pet lizard, but am just convincing myself a bit more. I can tell you which models I was looking at and why for the terminally curios...

Chameleon
SparkPlug/Thermo
Mako
Indulgence

All of these are somewhat modular and have multiple voltage options, so if and when I'm interested in HV stuff, they can grow into it. All of these also take shorter batteries than the 14500, so are short and squat. I think that will be more pocket friendly.

The Mako minno takes too small of a battery.
The larger Makos are too long.
The Mako has the endcap button, which I don't think I would like as much.
The SparkPlug ditto
The SparkPlug doesnt have the atty adapters.
Neither of those have the passthru thing (yet).

The Indulgence was most tempting in comparison to the lizard. Very similar dimensions (a bit wider), less expensive, one more atty option (m401). Ultimately the Chameleon is just more my style and appears to be higher quality device. A handful of other considerations...
- more and more accessible battery options
- best button (less likely to trigger in my pocket)
- slim and trim yet plenty powerful
- looks way cool (matt edgy) and won't scratch up
- its from IkenVape

Aww shucks Mr. Madness
It would be a real pleasure to get you strapped in and to get to do business with you. I guarantee you the button will not go off in your pocket and if it helps the button replacement service as well as cleaning maintenance is valid for 1 year.

I can't tell you much about the pv's that are in you line of sights, but I can tell you what I know. ;)
I'm not one to ever bad mouth anyone or put them or their product down in anyway and I never will. Also I'm not the type to play the shady game of telling only the "facts". Those always seem to be geared from a biased standpoint and it's the worst kind of an act of illusionary betrayal.

Really, they all look very nice. I don't believe Indulgence had any bad reviews, nothing I heard of anyway. I seen a few problems in the past, but I'm sure they were corrected. I can't honestly keep up with their low price though. Truth be told, I actually pay more for the Chameleon than the price eastmall sells for, go figure lol I have a friend that wants to take the Chameleon and copy it to sell to me for half price, but I refused many times over. Wise? no, Honorable, yes.

As for the Mako line and SP's, from what I'm told the bottom button placement is either a love or hate relationship. They both have locking caps which is a great thing to have. Plus the Mako line is stylish. Tim and I were talking last summer about having me supply the US with them but I guess that never fell through. Either way I know alot of time and dedication was poured into it.
Sorry for not being much help! lol If you would like to jot down any day to day activities you do we can take another stab at matchmaking! Just call me Chuck! Ofcourse escorted with the lovely Shandi. ;)

I can say I have 3 other mods besides the Chameleon and the Chameleon has ended up being the one I use the most since I got it,it's hassle free and just works every time. The others have been relegated to a chest for backup or to gift to friends due to I don't like bottom buttons(2 of them)/other issues.

The Chameleon's button placement is where I like it, easy to push and recessed so don't worry about it going off. The different adapters you can swap out is the best, no having to go back and buy different one's. It's also very small which was something I wanted. The usb adapter and sleeve option also make it a nice all around choice.
Imho you can't go wrong with it.

That's what I like too, the no fuss. I really love the usb because of the mini plug. When I leave I just unplug it from the bottom to cut power so no chance of it going off by itself, not that it ever has. But so easy and no need to unscrew the bottom or the atty every time. If the usb cable ever goes bad it can easily be replaced without having to buy another end cap, not that it will with the nice fat cable. And the six foot cable makes it easy to plug in wherever I want and not be yanking on it. I have had a couple other PTs and they don't compare to this one.

It is smaller in width than a roll of nickels, but I see Val has the exact measurements and has them with style :)
