Anyone ever have this come on abruptly?

I used to go with 25mg and feel nothing but nice TH and that 'ahhh' feeling. I'd up to 35 at times for more of a hit.

I thought there was something fishy going on with some of my mixes recently, or possibly my nic. But apparently not.

I mixed up to different batches of nic at 25mg in 75% VG, two different brands. They both have too much TH to them for me now, and I start to get that feeling I used to get from smoking too much/too fast. Not quite like the room is spinning, but on the way to that point: subtle GI stuff (like man I'm about to poop lol). There is a bit of a chemical bite I'm getting also, but its not a taste at all, more like an alkaline burn in the respiratory tract (nicotine is a base yeah?....)

even tried a drop of each on the tongue, same burn once it hits the throat, same funny feeling

WTH! It was literally like over night!

Gonna have to cut down to at least 20 lol. Just diluted something from 25 to 22, and its a huge difference. Strange.

Hmmm.... that is very fast for that to happen. The only thing that I have noticed is when my allergies are acting up and my throat is more sensitive to sore, I don't want TH in my eliquid because it seems to irritate it more. But, I have never had all of the effects that you speak of happen over night. Could you possibly be coming down with something that is making you more sensitive? That would be my only guess.

Good luck!

that could play a role as well, as I've been rewiring a lot of my clearos for 2-2.3 ohms vs. their native 2.6-2.8 ohms

do you guys and gals believe the "always shake" theory of nic concentrate? as in, a bottle of 100mg/ml nic in PG will separate out if you don't shake the crap out of it every time you use it?

Cyrus, I always shake my nic base, my pre-mixed ratio, my flavors and even my joose when I load a carto/atty but all that is just out of habit. I have asked several expert type individuals here on ECF and personally about this issue and the consensus is, once it has been thoroughly mixed it will stay mixed and won't separate into pockets. Using high VG I alway use heat to get everything mixed up properly. Not high heat but just enough to thin the VG and allow a thorough mix, about 135-140 degrees (yes I use a thermometer, I'm ..... In fact I always heat and shake my VG nic base when it arrives and before I put it in smaller bottles for storage.

On the nic sensitivity, I have days that I can use more nic than others. Not sure what that is all about but when I'm getting too much I break into a sweat and have to put the thing down for a bit. Some days I can go all day without an issue and other days I have to put it down or use a no nic mix for awhile. This all started for me around the fourth month in. When I started it was 6ml or 7ml of 24mg every day, now it varies greatly from day to day. I just listen to my body and use what ever strength I need to keep the cravings at bay. One of the great benefits of DIY is the ability to easily adjust or make different strength liquids. All of my favorite blends are made in 24mg and 0mg, that way I can mix the two if a lower % is needed. No doubt that using a hotter vape will allow more nic to be absorbed.

WHY didn't I happen to read this thread 20 minutes ago?!!!

Needless to say, I just became a believer of that. I just opened my first "full to the brim" bottle of nic out (I had divided up before in glass bottles) and eagerly drew a little to mix up some juice. It was something I had done before so no tasting, then I filled a carto and vaped. It felt like a sledgehammer in my throat. Silly me - I took a couple more vapes (at lower voltages) just to figure out what's going on. I'm also pretty confident I took too much nic in. See, I couldn't shake it because it was so full and I never thought of it. Now, I cross-mixed it several times using two bottles and shook it every time. Took a sample and made a little unflavored and it feels as expected... That was really bad!
