Hey everyone,

Has anyone ever experienced the resistance on their clearomizer changing? I am new to vaping, and for around the last 6 weeks I've been using an iTaste MVP 2.0 with an iClear 30 clearomizer. When I first started using it the resistance read that it was around 2.1 ohms. After the first time I cleaned it I noticed it would range from 2.2 to 2.4 ohms. Now after cleaning it again it reads 4.3 ohms. I know I should clean it more than twice in 6 weeks, but is this out of the ordinary? I also realize I'm due to replace the coil head, which I intend on getting around to this week. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

like you may have already noticed here, when you manage to baby a coil for a very long time (2 weeks or more) the resistances will go up gradually over time. i once had a coil that started out at 2.0 and reached 4.0 before i started to notice that something was up. usually cleaning or dry burning the coil will only work at most 2 times for me on 32awg because after that the tired coil will have such high resistance that the vaping properties will change.
